Service was amazing!Trey was a great attentive bartender and super fun to chat with.I went for happy hour and was thrilled to see it was a strong and amazing tasting.I would def recommend..Parking is a bit difficult but they do have valet!

Just had an unforgettable Taco Tuesday at Convo Restaurant & Lounge in Hapeville! If you're anywhere near 3259 Dogwood Dr., you need to experience this spot. The vibe is incredible, with $5 shots, tequila flights, and a taco menu that keeps the party going all night. I tried the Flight Take Off for $16.95--a premium trio of blackened salmon, chipotle shrimp, and pineapple jerk chicken tacos that were bursting with flavor. The tostadas were also a steal at just $4.95 each, with shrimp, salmon, or steak options that didn't disappoint. And the salsa, queso, and guacamole trio? A must-try for $13.50, served with house-made chips that were perfection. Happy Hour from 4pm - 7pm is where it's at, with $5 Avion and Lunazul shots, plus $45 Repo flights that pair perfectly with their full menu. Do yourself a favor and order the Stuffed Salmon and Fried Seafood Devil Eggs--you won't regret it. Taco Tuesday just got a whole lot better, and Convo is the reason why.

Nice restaurant in the city of Hapeville. I've passed this place a million times but never even realized it was there. Parking is valet only I believe. I can't remember the valet guy name but he was really nice and professional.The service was really good. Our server made sure we had everything we needed and made suggestions on the meals. I ordered the "Georgia Grown" which was a honey lemon pepper quarter chicken that came with Mac & cheese and collard greens. It was delicious! The chicken was crispy and flavorful. The collard greens had a good flavor as well as the Mac being super cheesy. I was worried the chicken would be soggy because of the greens but they held up nicely.Overall between the food and the service I will be back. There are a few other things on the menu I'd like to try next time.

I debated with myself about sharing this hidden gem but I decided not to be selfish lol. A friend came in town and we came here, instead of making our original reservations for a restaurant downtown. It was around 830pm, we parked across the street, very limited parking in front. They have a nice patio and I did see heaters for a chilly night. Walking in I was pleasantly surprised, very nice ambiance. There was a hostess who was very polite. The space is small but full of character. I had Honey Jack w/ coke, seafood deviled eggs, seafood salmon, with mashed potatoes, and asparagus. He had lamb chops(medium), yellow rice(to hard), brussel sprouts, and shot. Server was great(the bartender) and he made sure we where good. Everything we ate was good besides the yellow rice but the corrected it with no problem, with him wanting to switch it out for mashed potatoes. 18% gratuity is added. It was a good vibe! I can definitely and will definitely go back. They do have hookah ($45)

CHECKIN - UPDATE:Well here's the outcome of my 2nd experience...my friend & I thought we would enjoy getting out for Mother's Day by enjoying brunch. I arrived 1st and then my girlfriend joined me, we ordered & share a margarita flight. They give you more juice than expected so, I ordered Ciroc to make another drink so, it would not go to waste. Service started off good but, it took a slow left turn for my girlfriend. We were chatting, sipping & ordered afterwards....long story short...My food came, her's took a very long time and upon the server checking on us...we seen her coming & said, you not bringing us bad news. She said, "No, your food should be right up."We waited about 20mins later and this is when she came back to inform my girlfriend that they rain out of the salmon for the salmon croquettes dish. My girl was very bothered because, how long we were waiting and esp., cause I had ate my food and she still hadn't ate. Long story short...our server must of told management she no longer wanted to serve our table. Then a manager came over to our table, my girl ended up complaining to not 1 server, not 2 Managers but, also a 4th person. I tried to de-escalate the situation but, my friend was very hungry & upset. At any rate...I tried to calm the situation by jumping in a time or 2 but, I felt BOTH sides so I seen where both sides went sideways. However, what I did NOT LIKE...was the UNPROFESSIONALISM I witness and walked up on when I walked upto 3 of the 4 staff members who were having a discussion ON THE FLOOR of the restaurant talking about my friend/what had occured. As an YELP Elite, I seen this as messy hearing them gossip about this. Conversing about this should have been discussed OFF TGE FLOOR & behind closed doors however, while I'm waiting for my receipt...I approached these 3 ladies and heard them. This was not a situation I had even encountered so, I just grabbed the girl who told me she would bring my receipt and got my receipt and he headed out. I can't say I will ever return to patronize this business even after they tried to recover the situation because, I feel this business has some kinks to work out and staff needs to keep drama off the restaurant floor. If we were not ladies, I could have seen this playing out differently like on some of the crazy situations seen on social media but, we not like that. Wishing your business success but, please work out these flaws asap! FYI: They sell hookah so, if you do not like others customers blowing smoke toward your table...this place is small so, smoke may make its way into your face. RECOMMENDATION: I think hookahs should only be allowed outside on patio. Not inside the left side of restaurant.

Hey Travoodies Hey .... Let me tell you about @convoatl. I absolutely love the aesthetic in the place and the friendly host I didn't get her name. The place looks small and parking is interesting. The food was tasty and the drinks were in point. I went for the Lunch hour and here is what I got. The Cajun crab dip was very creamy. I probably would have wanted more bread but because I was already full I didn't bother. The honey hot lemon pepper winds with fries was yum. The right amount of crisps to the wings and the flavors evenly distributed was great. Overall I give the spot a 4/5 with a possibility of returning.

I meet a friend her for happy hour for her birthday! I came early to eat and order the turkey burger with truffle fries, man listen!!! That burger was seasoned to perfection! And the fries were delicious! I also ordered the hot honey wings (all small plates are 30% off during happy hour) bomb! I tried the crab dip mmm mmm good! The lemon drops, margaritas and Long Islands are $6. Our server Kelly was amazing! She was about to keep all orders straight, recommend items and had a great attitude and service with a smile! They have a few tables and a patio for seating, music was at a level for conversation and they offer valet parking as well!

Nice spot for a weekday dinner. Convo is located in Hapeville, parking is located in front of the restaurant, as well as across the street. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated immediately. We ordered the seafood dip appetizer, as well as the Georgia grown chicken entree, and stuffed salmon. The collard greens, dip, asparagus, and salmon were very tasty. The mashed potatoes however, tasted like they came out of a box; very little flavor and a gritty texture. The Mac and cheese was just ok, nothing to write home about. I would return to try some other things on the menu. The atmosphere was lovely and the decor was tres chic.

A new gem! I visited twice in one week and the food/service was consistent. The food does take a little while but it was worth the wait. I wish I remembered the name of the gentleman at the door with locs that assisted me out of the Uber my first visit and the second visit made sure I was parked right in front. I visited on a Thursday evening around 6:30 PM and it wasn't crowded but it filled up by the end of my meal. The space is intimate and modern w/ an outdoor space. FYI Convo has a hookah menu & a cute aesthetic for social media pics.During my first visit I had the crawfish dip, seafood deviled eggs and the stuffed salmon for my main. Everything was hot, fresh and well seasoned. My salmon was cooked to perfection and the crab dippppp SO GOOD. The cocktails were good/strong and for dessert the biscoff cheesecake was tasty.I enjoyed the food so much I returned two days later. This time around 4 PM on a Saturday we were the first to dine. This visit I ordered everything I had the first time & also tried the eggrolls. Hubby had the burger which he enjoyed.I'm excited to have this spot in the neighborhood, I'll def visit again. I can't wait for them to get on UberEats!

HAPPY HOUR IS FRIDAY NIGHTS ONLY!!Location/Exterior: Hapeville area, small building and even smaller parking lot. I was scared to park anywhere else before my truck gets towed or booted possibly. Cute sign!!Ambiance: classy, yet urban. So you can dress up or come casual. But whatever you do, don't come half stepping or risk being whispered about (lol) the hostess welcomed me with a warm smile and was able to answer my question about if I can smoke a hookah at the bar before I could ask lolService: the lady who made my hookah was the bomb!!! I asked if I could use my own shisha since it's nicotine free and she did it with no problem! The hookah was smoking sooooo good omg ! she charges $45 for hookah. The bartender, Rose was so pleasant and had good convo for ya! She made me feel welcomed. Her mixology skills were superb to me! She put my order in and I was able to substitute the mashed potatoes for the Mac n cheese. I seen a previous review saying they couldn't substitute sides, well I'm here to tell u that's not true!Food: DELICIOUS!!!!! Everything about the stuffed salmon plate was good. Nothing was lacking. And I went on a Tuesday evening. So I'm sure it's still great on a busy night. The Mac n cheese was cheesy and good, the salmon was cooked but not overcooked, the two shrimp on top was juicy and flavorful. I think it was stuffed with some kind of cheese filling. The asparagus was good too. The customer next to me at the bar said his burger and fries were very good. I'll try that on a quick night lolOnly thing I'll like to see is that they have happy hour every week night and offer nicotine free shisha for the hookah. Convo surely will keep you talking!
