a man at a market

There are a number of produce shops/stands at Pike Place Market. Actually, a lot if you are counting the day stands. This one is located in the main walk of the Pike Place Market Arcade. It is hard to discern where this shop is located as you walk by because the sign is really small and hidden.Easiest way to find it is to look for the produce stand next to Pappardelle's Pasta. It is also next to another produce stand, Manzo Brothers. Another produce place, Sosio's is also nearby.I found the selection here to be okay. It is smaller than the selection found at Manzo Brothers next stand over, but the prices are decent. They have a nice $1 herb selection and the chantarelle mushrooms that I found here were the cheapest in the Market. Cheaper than buying them at a Metropolitan Market or Whole Foods BTW. And the quality was not at all different.Lina's is a decent produce stand with relatively reasonable prices. But like I do when shopping for produce in the ID, I would compare pricing and quality for what I am looking for around the Market before buying.

Their selection really kind of sucks, since they don't have much to offer in the way of variety. Good news is, the prices ROCK.. if you're looking to buy in bulk, or get a good deal of whatever is in season at the time, hit this place up - but if you're looking to get more than 4-5 types of fruit at once, you might want to hit up another store.

Wow, I can't believe I actually found this little place on Yelp! I really, REALLY love this Pike Place produce stand and the family that owns it (especially Donny). When I lived in Seattle, I came here a few times a week. The produce was always fresh and surprisingly affordable, especially since I didn't have to buy, for instance, an entire bag of carrots if I only needed one carrot. I loved the fact that I wasn't just buying my fruits and veggies from an impersonal big-box supermarket... whenever I came here, it felt more like I was visiting friends. Sometimes, Donny would slip a carton of strawberries or some other freebie into my bag just to thank me for being a loyal customer. I feel bad that I haven't kept in touch with them since I moved away. Someday I will move back to Seattle and when I do, I will be shopping here regularly again!

Best selection of Asian produce and fruits in the pike place market. Very good prices. I had a recipe that called for some Asian herds and I couldn't find them anywhere in the market until I stumbled upon Lina's.
