Been living in Berwyn for 2.5 yrs now & finally came to visit this spot! My mum said they had decent breakfast so I went today after my 5K. I got 2 eggs with ham off the bone & chocolate chip pancakes on the side. My partner got eggs with bacon & sourdough toast. Our waitress Kim was very attentive & friendly. Juan was also quick to pick up our dishes after we finished up with them. I would totally come back at a different time to try other menu items.

Food was Good but OMG the Wife owner the Woman Owner was so mean and rude when we asked if they could remake my friend's waffle because the strawberries were not fresh as like my friend thought they would be but they were more like a glazed jam style making the waffle a lil soggy and we asked for if it was possible to remake the waffle? Well, she was mad !! Then she made a comment She said to my friend .. do you think you're the only customer we need to take care of ??? That has ben our worst customer service experience in a restaurant ever!!! Wow !!!!! On the contrary on the other hand Which I suppose is the husband, the owner too... omg VERY SWEET Man! I would think that Only a nice sweet man like him could handle her attitude... he really shows a character of love care and patience. God Bless him! Omggggg !! Maybe she should stay home and relax a little & let the husband run the business, customers will feel a more positive vibe with him only in there! I can not recommend this place enough ... I grew up coming here since I was in elementary school getting Mickey Mouse pancakes and til this day I absolutely love it. Love the service, food, great people and definitely making me feel at home / welcomed. We always (somehow) had the same waitress and she was fabulous. The amount of times my family and I have been there, she has literally seen all of us grow up. Celebrate birthdays, everything at Connie's. I can't say it enough but I appreciate this restaurant and I thank you for all the wonderful memories! I was here for a event in their private roomThe room is nice and two small separate restrooms in the area so you don't need to walk to the main restrooms Parking is limited with a small lot behind the restaurant. On weekends extra parking at Harlem ave metra station Staff friendly , and reasonably quickFood was certainly lacking in taste and quality Likely better if ordered off menu but the food served family style for this event was below average, cream of chicken soup was good but that was about it, chicken breast was on the dry side , other entries was just not great The reputation is a bit higher than reality here.

Including a decent tip.Not returning, just lost a customer.And service was again bad despite it being almost empty on a Sunday morning at 8am. Waitresses too busy chitchatting with each other and hiding by the kitchen.Again.No mention of the price difference by the waitress or the owner. Could have said something, but didn't feel like having a confrontation at 8:30 and management should be upfront on price increases , not my job!Very dishonest.

Service is great but unfortunately I had a terr meal here. I had to go to the Doctor a few days after a meal here. I got sick and it gave me stomach problems. It was a chicken wrap that did not have any ranch, mayonnaise, nothing. It was like a brick in my stomach after eating it. The Doctor told me that this meal probably caused me to have IBS. Now I might need surgery. The food just tastes weird and has no flavor either. Nice waitstaff but not good food at all!
