Fantastic treat after boating or kayaking! Just stopped by there today, got to try two or three different flavors, all of which were amazing. Seems to be more local and handmade than chain ice cream spots, and Milk & Cookies was by far my favorite. Definitely worth a stop!

Was SO excited to be getting an ice cream place in the SLU neighborhood (and it was by Parfait from Ballard) but was just as quickly extremely disappointed and would recommend staying home - or even going to grocery store for ice cream - over going to this place. Also the hours aren't very accommodating (closes at 6 every night it's open) so likely when you'd want to go it's closed anyways! I believe the ice cream part is just an addition to whatever else the place already does so maybe they just don't care about the ice cream part but it's not good. It was a sad little ice cream freezer in a place that looked like an office with two beverage refrigerators. A few cones were sitting on the side - no idea where/how they store them at night. The price was outrageous - $5 or $6 for less than a quarter of a cup of ice cream - if even that. And the ice cream tastes freezer burned. This is just no good. Go buy ice cream for the same price and enjoy at home. Or - go to any other ice cream place in the city - they're all better value than what I experienced here.

What a cute little local ice cream shop! I always pass by it when I go to the Outdoor Center next door but never tried their ice cream until recently. It's a small shop with maybe 8 flavors. I got to try different ones and liked most of them. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety - it wasn't just the "basic" chocolate and vanilla stuff. I really like their marionberry one and the white chocolate & milk chocolate combo. Their moose tracks was good too. Pricing was really good and I got to do 2 flavors with one scoop! Will def. be back the next time I take a kayak out!

Cone and Compass is a little Ice Creamjoint that, much like the little one on the lake in Kirkland reminds me of a summer camp ice cream parlor. It'sperfect for a walk around the harbor. The kids loved it, but they'll eat anything- even a cone that one of them dropped on the floor. :-/ Yeah. That happened.

I'm so happy to have an ice cream shop in my neighborhood! The shop is very small, and has a limited selection, but what they do offer is absolutely delicious! I had the milk and cookies, which is a sweet cream icecream with chocolate chip cookie chunks throughout. My boyfriend has the stellar strawberry which was TO DIE FOR! All of the flavors are handmade! I sampled the lavender berry which was also super delicious and refreshing! Quick and friendly service! If you are in the area, don't hesitate to stop for a sweet treat! Cheers!
