Como La Flor Mexican Food

We finally got to check out Como La Flor Mexican Food @comolaflor32nd located at 3329 E Bell Rd #19, Phoenix, AZ 85032, for a Friday lunch. This is an adorable little family-owned restaurant that makes you feel at home and comfortable. Service was so great and we were brought our food on a tray with a large squeeze bottle of red and green sauce. We ordered:- Asada Fries - Taco Salad with Chicken - Mexican CokeI really over ate this time, but the food was so good. Everything was cooked fresh as we waited. The chicken was tender and seasoned well on my taco salad. It was covering beans, guacamole, pico, sour cream & lettuce (I requested no rice). The taco shell was freshly fried right after I ordered it, in clean grease. This was such a treat and such a comfort meal. It took me back to my days in Whittier, California, eating freshly made authentic Mexican food that just hits the spot. My daughter loved her asada fries also. She let me try a fry and some Asada. The fries are thick cut and fried well. The Asada is nice and tender. A customer walking by couldn't stop staring and had to come over and ask what she had ordered. We really enjoyed our lunch!!

Came in for a torta but it was almost end of day and the bread was out so I opted for their shredded beef enchiladas instead.Let me tell youuuuuu, best enchiladas I've had out here since I'm moved from CA 5 years ago. I always judge a place on their beans and man they got some good beans here. I will be coming back (earlier next time) to try the rest of the menu! Definitely a must try spot

Wow! Talk about a FAMILY owned restaurant. The sweetest people I've ever met, the food was delicious and the price was great! I will be back next week to try a breakfast burrito and check out Taco Tuesday. We came to pick up tamales for Tamale Friday and are so glad we did. I like that they have a photo spot, photos of the family that we're inviting and all the food smelled great as I waited. The owner is a gem! Go check it out and tell your friends and family. It's off the 51, so easy to find.

Finally. A Mexican restaurant where the beans are delicious and flavorful-just like when I was young, and eating them in my neighbor's kitchen. EVERYTHING is fresh and made in house - absolutely our new favorite Mexican food place! $1.50 taco Tuesdays and $2 tamale Fridays are a nice bonus!

Amazing service as always; every single item has hit the spot. Locally owned and family owned i highly recommend giving this place a try. The food is amazing every time !

Delicious, wonderful service, and just an all around great place to stumble into. We had carne asada tacos, a quesadilla, picadita... everything was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Really good food, I order the beef enchilada plate with rice and beans. The service was very friendly even though I came in an hour before close. I'm from Texas where the Mexican food is good and very authentic, this tasted just like it. This is my new spot for sure

Really cool little spot!! I love places like this! The menu is really nice and really good prices. They do have daily specials that are priced right!The staff is really friendly and it's really clean. I got stuffed eating my torta!!!The talera was toasted really nice and the whole sandwich was awesome!!!I'm definitely coming back!!!!

Came here for the first time and had a torta de asada and it was yummy. I was looking forward to trying there tamales but unfortunately there only available over the weekend Friday-Sunday. I will definitely come back and try something else. Oh ya only thing I really didn't care for were the fries on my plate missing flavor.

This place was amazing. Everything was fresh and the sauces they had were so good. We ordered for 6 people and with tip came out to $100. Definitely on my short list of Mexican restaurants I'll go back to.
