I'm a fan! Great food and service. Excellent menu. We enjoyed drinks and live music here upon check-in and breakfast two mornings. Breakfast is excellent. They have a very good menu and prices are super fair. We had the side fruit for $4 which is a giant serving. Juice is also $4 in a tall glass. Sides are all $4-6 and great sized for sharing. Try the breakfast potatoes. Soooo crispy and good. Served chopped in little squares. The fruit parfait is good but small in size and had too much granola to yogurt ratio but was topped with some berries and a berry coulis. The egg white frittata was excellent. Light, fresh and served with a lightly dressed salad and fresh toast. Hubs tried the breakfast burrito - heavy but delicious and the breakfast sandwich and enjoyed both. We had dinner and drinks one night and had a delicious sausage honey flatbread and a pork chop and grain bowl. All great. Friendly staff who will go out of their way to take care of you, good ambiance and the food was great! Nice location as well in this hip hotel easily walkable to the Gulch and Music Row.

This review is for dinner on Thursday night and breakfast on Saturday morning last weekend, as we were staying at the Virgin Hotel. The ambiance is retro chic and elegant. Dark and moody, it's the perfect way to start our little vacation. Thursday night, our server was Chase, very personable and welcoming! On Saturday morning, Cody was our server, equally as good and accommodating! The lemon pepper wings are a MUST try. Some of the best wings we have had! Hot, crunchy, juicy, and seasoned to perfection! We shared the short rib dinner with sides of asparagus and creamed spinach. While the whole meal was super tasty, the creamed spinach was a bit bland. Breakfast on Saturday consisted of home fries, a fruit bowl, eggs benedict, and an egg sandwich. All were delicious and cooked properly. The poached eggs, as was the muffin, were a bit on the chill side. But that didn't stop me from devouring it! The lightly dressed greens were perfect for sopping up any runny egg and sauce left over! After a couple of mimosas, Cody graciously switched my order to the bottomless mimosa as it would save me money; I was very thankful for that! We cannot wait to come back!

This bar has a great vibe! Other than that food is average and service is very hit or miss. Drinks I would say are always spot on. This is a go to of mine for an easy drink to start off the night!

I'm not understanding the low score. The customer service was on point. Even though they didn't have enough staff. They were still friendly and very helpful. The food was good! Maybe it was because I had the Mother's Day brunch. I don't know!?! But either way, that food was good! I did not try the biscuits and gravy because I haven't been working out as much lately. But that prime rib and those Belgium crispy waffles with the strawberry and whipped cream to top it.. y'all showed out! They actually had bagels with the stuff to make lox! I didn't get to eat mine because my grandson boguarded it! And they had macaroons! I really wanted to be greedy and get more. But I knew I had to wash my intake on food consumption that day. I must I must I must come back! Epic mentioned you can eat outside with your dog! And it's just so comfy and beautiful and surrounded by plants! So the ambiance is perfect for nature lovers! So I just don't know how this place got such low ratings. And again, I will say I was there for the Mother's Day brunch. But my daughter even said the biscuits and gravy was the bomb. She said the bacon was crispy. The biscuits alone we're just perfect! She had three slices of prime rib. Mind you, one slice was enough to make a sandwich! So I don't know.. but I will be back! And between the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the food and the ambiance, hell yeah, they get five stars!

I've been to the Virgin Hotel plenty of times but I've never eaten dinner at the Commons Club downstairs. The weather was perfect to eat outside the view was great. I realized we were sitting next to their garden in the front of the hotel. Not only was it pretty, but they use what they grow to cook in the dishes on the menu. I had a pineapple gin martini and I loved it. The menu was small. But I love scallops and it was really good and I liked the corn salad that came along with it. The jalapeños made it even better. The duck with bok choy was disappointing, it was bland and dry. The portion was pretty small and still didn't finish it. After dinner we went upstairs to the Pool Club which had wonderful views of the city and great drinks. I'll definitely be back, but not if I'm trying to really eat.

We wound up at this hotel for a late dinner. We sat on the patio, which was lovely and warm and illuminated by string lights. The indoor area was very chic, the bathrooms especially. The staff was very hospitable. We ordered some light fare. Our table split a blackened brie. I ordered the parmesan truffle fries. The server forgot to put them in so my dish came out a bit later than my companions'. I was totally fine with that, but they were SO apologetic and took it off the bill without any of us asking. Truly top notch service. My fries were HUGE by the way, and very tasty- perfectly crispy. Price was on the higher end, but the quality definitely merited it.

Got a table outside, it was uneven and rocked back and forth when we sat down, the person who seated us saw it but made no acknowledgment. We folded numerous tissues to level the table. No one came to assist. They were out of the draught beer we wanted. Ordered an appetizer of blackened Brie which was really good, but they never brought plates. The app was sticky from the honey so without a plate that was not fun. Ordered a chick pea cauliflower curry. There were about 5 chick peas, 6 small pieces of cauliflower over a bed of onions that had a texture like they'd been steamed. That was on top of rice. I let them know the dish was surprising with all of the onions and little cauliflower and chick pea. Manager was nice and apologized and brought out more cauliflower. Overall not a good experience. There are q lot of places to spend your money in Nashville, I don't recommend this.

Great vibe, really nice server, however I think he had the entire lounge and dining area on the 4th of July. It felt a bit chaotic. Had a great time still. My friend had to return her martini cuz there was wayyy too much vermouth. Then when she got it again, it still had too much vermouth. We ordered a lot of food and asked for it to come out as it's ready because we knew it wasn't all going to fit the table. Waited almost an hour before ALL the food came out together and there wasn't really space for all of it. Food was decent, but not great. This place definitely needs more employees. It felt like everything was half assed due to lack of staff. Love the ambience and will be back because of it, but staff some more ppl please! Especially on a busy holiday. Poor dude was getting crushed.
