Zone 5 BBQ

You can smell this delicious mouthwatering BBQ before you get out of the car! It draws you in.. be careful driving by with your window down! I ordered ribs. The Smokey flavor was amazing and it really didn't need sauce! It was falling off the bones. Yum! The service was fast and all wore masks. The cost was under $12

It's definitely a hot one today but you still have Food Trucks out there braving the heat to serve us. I saw that Zone 5 BBQ was in the Easton area and decided to hit them up. You can find their location on StreetFoodFinder.com. Met up with Jermain the owner. You want some great BBQ from a Food Truck, you come see him. Ordered the 5 Smoked Whole Wings, Coleslaw, Macaroni Salad and Vegetarian Baked Beans. The Macaroni Salad was nice and smooth, great tasting. Coleslaw had a touch of sweetness but a little bite. Yummmm. Baked beans were a vegetarian style with chopped onions and peppers. The slightest sweetness to them. Delicious!! On to the star of this show the Smoked Wings, smoked perfectly with cherry and apple wood. He finishes them with charcoal. No barbecue sauce needed. These are nicely smoked whole wings. They're some of the best in town for sure. Take the time to check them out. Major plus is the music they play on the speakers attached to the trailer. Puts you in a great mood for BBQ.

I found them at the Juneteenth festival and obviously had to try something. The rib tips and fries were quite good - I liked the seasoning on the fries a lot, and the BBQ sauce was nice. I usually like it with a little more kick, but overall this was a great meal for a perfectly reasonable price, with good service.

Love the food trucks that come to our neighborhood. Places we might not have tried and the turn out amazing. Zone5BBQ came to Brandon tonight and it was busy. We ordered a cheeseburger and the perch dinner. I love perch and had not tried it with hot peppers before. Nice touch! They offered wings and I might have to walk back up there.

I know it says BBQ, but you can leave the sauce at home. You know the meat is good when it doesn't need any sauce. Some people just like BBQ sauce, I understand that. So ask for it on the side so you can taste (appreciate) the chicken before drenching it in sauce. That man has that grill and seasoning his food down to a science because it is always been good. I have yet to have a bad batch. The truck would come to my job and everyone was looking forward to it's arrival. The only time I've been displeased with this food truck was when I came too late and they were out of chicken. They have other items on their menu but the chicken is my number one stunner. The food was good. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries so nothing extravagant but it was well seasoned. They had an option to order ahead and I did that but I was standing in line with the people that haven't ordered yet, it was a very long line. I think it would be smart if they had 2 lines or did not have an order ahead option.
