Zifer's Mary Pizza Shop

Ordered a small pizza with pepperoni and cheese for pickup at 5:30pm on Thursday, October 28. I was actually there at 5:20 went in and to my surprise it was ready. I paid and tipped well. I took the pizza to my car as I drove away I opened the box to sneak a piece of pizza for my trip home. The pizza was cold and soggy. The cheese was covering the edge crust so there was no crust. It was horrible. If I was not in a hurry I would have taken it back. This pizza was a far cry from the original, Mary would not be happy with the quality. The last time I got a pizza there 2 months ago it was the same story. I will not go back, plenty of choices for good pizza in this area. Wake up Mary Zifers or you will be out of business.

I have never had a bad experience here. They are a little deficient in the customer service department, but you call in and place your order, pay and pick it up. No big deal. They can get pretty busy at times. The food is always good. I am a big fan of the pizza for sure. I usually go to The Dover Zifer's, that's where my loyalty is, but this will also do in a pinch.

I had an extended wait for food. They were very busy. I got 2 Meatball Splashes, 1 salad with House Vinegar and Oil, A family size Rigatoni and Family Size Spaghetti.What I ate tonight was excellent. If you haven't eaten here or it's been a while. Place it on your list. Highly recommended.One more thing, It's cash or checks ONLY!! No credit/debit cards

Not worth the hassle. Crust is very dry & tastless, sauce/cheese not memorable, limited topping choices & most annoyingly, DON'T TAKE CREDIT CARDS OR DELIVER!!! Plus the staff lack customer service skills. Don't bother. Keep looking!

The most unique pizza ever! When I am in the area I always have to stop and bring at least one home.The pizza starts with a thick crust, that is then topped with colby cheese, the sauce and your choice of toppings. The cheese makes it different and the fact it is under the sauce.

We love this pizza. The sauce is a little sweater than most. The cheese a little darker yellow too. No delivery, so you know it's good when I agree to go pick it up!

They have one the best Pizza Shops in the county I eat there every night they have good salads and pasta and pizza and the garlic bread is to die for our piece of their everyday for supper and is very awesome neat little pizza of shop.

Mary Ziffers pizza is a local owned pizza shop that makes a sweet thicker crust pizza that is absolutely fantastic !! All ingredients are fresh so each pizza is made as they are ordered . The owner has passed the tradition to each new worker to take pride in their craft to do the best job they can. This is what is missing from many businesses not only pizza shops called pride of workmanship !! They are still a business that believes in American business that quality begins phone edict to shape and size of each pie looks and made by hand and shows the quality value. Excellent taste and presentation ! Quality everywhere !!!

We live 1 block from this place, but never eat there. We will drive 5 miles to get pasta from Mary Zifer's in Dover. The pasta here is pretty good, but they limit you to 6 meatballs. That's not much for a family of 5. Mary Zifer's has no limit on meatballs. Yeah! I never tried the pizza here. Not gonna either.
