Zapata’s Street Food

This food truck is in the running for one of my top birria tacos. I can tell they made it extra fresh because I could barely hold the plate from how hot it was. The consome was super flavorful and the tacos were crispy and juicy and cheesy. The service was also very good. My only gripe with this place is that they had two menus, with one listing the tacos for $16, the other $16.50, and then I got charged $17. I believe in transparency so this was very frustrating. Hopefully, the owner sees this and adjusts the menus accurately.

The best item from what we tried was the quesabirria. The ramen was just ok and the fries were very good flavor-wise but really all clumped together even though they were fresh. I would recommend skipping the ramen, it's pretty gimmicky unless they were to have higher quality noodles The quesabirria was great but honestly I wouldn't say the consommé even added much- it was already very juicy and had those flavors in it. I asked for more cilantro and lime, it definitely needed a pop of acidity. Overall, this food was very good though and I would go back! I thought the workers were very friendly and they were parked right outside of Pins Mechanical which was great!

Since my first try of the Birria Ramen from AJ's Tacos, I kind of fell in love with it. Here is another Taco truck that offer it and I have to go and try. Zapata's Street Food is a food truck located closer to the Westerville area. Their truck parked at the parking lot right by the CVS. Occasionally, they will have their second truck available at other places as well. So just need to watch out for any update on their social media.Their Birria Ramen is serve in a tall foam cup, which is easy to hand held. The cup is filled with slowed cooked shredded beef, noodles, and tons of onion and cilantro. Their consomme is a bit more thicker and get attached on every bite of the noodles. Since it is serve in a tall foam cup, I can't quite reach down to the bottom toward the end. I also got the Zapata's Special Taco and they are nice enough to let me substitute from steak to pastor. Everything loaded in this taco is very flavorful. The pastor is super tender and soft, along with some grilled onion and green pepper. Love it topped with the big slices of avocados.They do have couple picnic tables by their truck and perfect to enjoy it outdoor on a sunny day.

Wow! What a surprise!I am not a fan of most American Mexican food. I thought this food truck would be more of the same. But these tacos were absolutely out of this world! Slow roasted beef and so amazing. Packed with flavor and came with a dipping sauce. And their sauces to put on it? There is an amazing green sauce which has a mild flavor and then a red sauce that is super hot. Personally I put both of them on my tacos. It was amazing

One of my employees has been telling me about this place for months and he said that I needed to try their Birria Taco's, which I've never heard of. These taco's are the absolute best taco's I've ever had in my life! The tortilla's are tossed in the consommé before being thrown on the grill. Each taco has two tortilla's stuffed with tender shredded beef and then sprinkled with chopped onion and cilantro. It comes with a tasty spicy hot sauce and a bowl of the consommé to dip the taco's in. The consommé I can't even say how good it taste, after I finished the taco's I drank the rest like a soup. My employee ordered the street fries which looked awesome, I've added a picture of those also. I will definitely be going back to this place a lot in the future.

Wow! What a wonderful surprise. We had Zapatas at the Worthington July 4th festival. It was delicious! We had the Tijuana Birilla Street Tacos and a chicken burrito. This was my first time having Burria and I loved it! The sauce was delicious and corn tortilla and tender meat was delicious. The chicken burrito was huge and packed full of flavor and delicious vegetables. I'll have to seek them out at a different time. It was a wonderful foodie experience!

Twice now in two weeks! Love them! First time I had Birria Tacos and were THEE best ove had do far from anywhere in Cbus, and I barely even dipped it! Second time, yesterday, I had the Street Tacos. One Pastor, one chicken, one steak. Absolutely loved the Pastor and chicken, but the steak not so much! The Turamisu was not good for me. I ended up throwing away. It was dripping in milk, when it should have been should have already been soaked in, not dripping. It was awful. But it did not deter me from going again yesterday. Looking forward to going back and trying the Fries and Quesabirria!

Excellent! Best fish tacos I've had in quite some time. Definitely going to look for them next time I'm in town. Supposedly they have a brick and mortar store somewhere too

Tried for the first time today~ FABULOUS!! Flavors are amazing! Portions are very generous! We ordered the Street Fries with Pastor and an extra portion of Pastor, A Quesabirria with consommé and limes~ DELICIOUS!!! WE WILL BE BACK!

Always good, always fresh, always delicious! Great service. The ramen birria is a must. I will tell you that if you are taking the ramen to go ask for a separate container to put the liquid in. I bought 2 one to eat there and one to go. By the time I got home the noodles had absorbed most of the liquid. It did not change the taste profile of the dish, however I like having some liquid in my ramen. Other than that a 10/10.
