Yellow Butterfly Winery

Be sure to add Yellow Butterfly to your list of wineries to visit! My friend from out of state visited a month ago, so we dedicated a Saturday to visiting some wineries in the valley. If you can't tell from all of the photos in the reviews, the landscape is absolutely stunning. They also have alpacas on the property which are fun to watch. The main portion of the winery is in a renovated barn. The inside is just as stunning as the outside. I may be partial since yellow is my favorite color, but the outside of the bar is gorgeous as well! Our service was wonderful. The two women working the bar were friendly, very helpful, and quick. The wine is also delicious. I always recommend getting a wine flight so you can taste a variety. Yellow Butterfly does a great job with their fruit wines!Their only downfall is their food menu. They often have a food truck, but it's not always what you are typically looking to eat with wine (there was a bbq truck when we were there.) Aside from this, they have bags of pretzels and other small snack to purchase. We wished we could have had a charcuterie board or at least some cheese and crackers with our wine. All in all, the Yellow Butterfly is a must!

I came here on a Saturday afternoon with my husband and absolutely loved the setting - the rolling hills with the trees changing color was just magical! We purchased food from the local food truck in the parking lot. Nothing special but a nice option when you're hungry. I was happy to see they had lots of fruit-based wines. Unfortunately I wasn't a fan of the ones I chose except for one. The others were too sweet and syrupy for my taste. The live music was really good and we enjoyed sitting out on the patio watching the alpacas. I'd come back to give this one another shot if just for the scenery alone.

Amazing property/working Alpaca farm with a huge outdoor seating area. Staff is really friendly and enjoyed our bottle of wine!

I really enjoyed our visit here. It has such a beautiful view of the hillside to enjoy while you sip wine on the deck. My mom and I did a tasting first at the bar to decide what to go with. While we are typically fans of dryer wines, we know that Ohio grapes are often much sweeter and it's usually just best to embrace the sweeter wine options! We quite liked several of the ones we tried and ended up getting a bottle of the Country Rose. There was live music outside and it was a beautiful fall afternoon/evening to sit outside, listen to the music, enjoy the views and each other's company. I would definitely come back if in the area again!

My wife and I agree that this is the prettiest setting of all the wineries we've been to in southern Ohio. It was so peaceful and idyllic. We enjoyed a grilled cheese from the food truck in the parking lot. We unfortunately did not enjoy the wines we chose - they were too sweet and syrupy for our taste. So 5 stars for the location and 2 stars for the wine. We enjoyed watching the alpacas as we drank our wine and ate our sandwich. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the live music too.

A great and picturesque winery in the country. Wine is good atmosphere is fabulous and they usually have music on Saturdays !!!

This is a great place to just relax and enjoy the wine and the beautiful view. They even had a guy playing music and singing . He was really good . They have a large outdoor deck and the rolling hills and fall leaves made a beautiful setting . This is the second time we been here as we don't live in the area otherwise I would be there al the time

I visited one of my besties in Coshocton and she took me here to sample a wine slushy. The views were beautiful and loved watching the lamas. The peach margarita slushy was pretty good, but the view topped it off. I thought the inside was beautiful and they have a lower level you can rent out. I would love to go back and do a wine tasting.

Delicious They have tastings 5 w a glass you keep for $8.50 or 6 without a glass for $7.50The pink Catawba was a stand out for us!!

They were very nice. I enjoyed the very dry red. They made a good selection for my husband who is not necessarily a wine drinker. He enjoyed the wine they suggested. Scenery was beautiful.
