Yappy Greek

Had so much good Greek food at Yappy Greek! Their menu is extensive and their desserts are made with care by a local baker and the owner's wife! The gyro platter had lots of spiced gyro with pita, salad, and seasoned fries. Everything was so good! Their chicken shawarma rice bowl is also a great option and you can get it spicy with their house made spicy feta. If you're looking for a refreshing and hearty appetizer, the dolmades was the one. It had a tangy flavor from the lemon and the grape leaves were tender. They had a lot to choose from as for desserts but I had to try their walnut baklava. It was layered, flaky, and sweet with walnuts baked within. It was one of the best baklava I've had! The cookies were on the dry and flaky side but I appreciated how they weren't too sweet. Service was quick and there were plenty of seats indoors. The owner was very friendly and kindly explained all the dishes to us! Definitely will be back!

Wow! I found my new favorite Greek restaurant!! This place was so delicious the owner was there working and he was so kind! I got the Charlie sandwich with Greek fries and a kids grilled cheese for my daughter( which came on a pita with fries!). Everything was amazing! That was the best tuna sandwich I've had in a long time! I want to go back in just to get a gyro to go for later! The place was cute and quiet! The owner mentioned he was moving to a different location soon close to campus blvd! Can't wait to go and try it out!

It's tough finding authentic gyro places especially since all of them are named in some form of *appy Greek. I took a chance on this place and I'm happy I did. This place is hidden behind some warehouse-looking buildings. You can drive behind them or a more annoying way around them. Stepping inside, the place is clean and very busy with employees operating a well-oiled machine. One of them was very good at multitasking, working on an order while giving me full attention and asking what I needed. The flavors of the gyro were fantastic, probably one of my top gyros. The fries were a little incomplete with flavor. Some fries were super flavorful and others more bland. The price was not the worst that I've seen either.

Fabulous, authentic, delicious... will totally be back as I will be craving this food.I feel like I'm in Greece

Visited 25 JUL 2024This is a small storefront in a three unit block of building along a busy road. It is exactly the kind of spot you would expect to find a gyro place or pizza joint. We got carryout. There are tables, but while we were waiting no one was dining in, there were orders coming in, and bags going out. There is a lot of bright blue and the standard see the sights poster photographs as decoration.I got a gyro with fries, and my wife got a turkey and cheese in pita bread with fries. I would say that the food is average and suitable for the price and atmosphere. I have had better versions of that meal and I have had worse versions.

This is a very unassuming restaurant in a sort of industrial part of Worthington. Definitely a sort of hole in the wall, easy to miss place but def worth the drive and find! The owner was super friendly and recognized us as first timers. He provided a quick run down of the special of the day.I ordered the combo number 1 which is a gyro pita with fries and a drink. We also got the trio dip which had hummus, spicy feta, and eggplant. All the food was really good and came out really fast. The pita on the gyro and for the dips was so soft and fluffy with a nice crisp to it as well. The fries were also great dipped in the various dips. The owner actually came out and gave us a free brownie dessert with ice cream to welcome us, which was a super nice gesture.Definitely a great little Greek restaurant with amazing food and service! They also do delivery so if its too middle of nowhere for you, get some delivery!

This place rocks! The gentleman that helped us was fantastic. So friendly and accommodating. We immediately felt like we were part of the family or old friends. All of the food was delicious. Special shoutout to the 3 dips appetizer (hummus, eggplant, and spicy feta). My partner and I could've eaten just a plate of the dips for dinner. And to top everything off, we received a complimentary dessert for it being our first visit. The location is a bit awkward with the turn in from a divided highway. They do offer delivery and contactless ordering though. We will definitely be back!

Great food. Amazing service, the owners will make you feel like you are a family friend within minutes of being there. The gyros here are worth getting, they carve the meat fresh per order and you get a lot of meat. They are great at modifying things super friendly. Inside and out side seating. Spanakopita is delish here-it is very big. The hummus is also amazing. The ambiance is more like a deli, which somehow really works here. They have hand painted murals and a lot of windows The only con is it can be tricky getting into the lot as there is a median that makes entry tricky- so If you need to turn left to access restaurant drive:. You can risk the uturn (dont recommend) just turn left and keep turning at every left turn that comes your way.... It loops you into the back lot.

Great falafels and gyros. Service is also good. The restaurant is clean and l love the authentic pictures on the wall. This edit is due to my error in giving 4 stars rather than 5. My husband and I frequent Yappys a lot and we wouldn't if they weren't a 5 star.

Killer food. You can't go wrong with gyros - and while it's not traditional - the bowl is awesome. Fire fries and soup rounded out the taste adventure. Good guys behind the counter. Well worth it.
