Yaggi Cheese House

Yaggi's was an unexpected delight. The gals behind the counter were over the top helpful and friendly. I don't believe they make any cheese here but have a ton of selections from all the local cheese makers. I got the feeling this is where the locals buy their cheese to stay out of the tourist traps. We did find that Yaggi!s had the cheapest price on seasoned beef sticks by at least a dollar compared to the other cheese stores. Small but friendly and glad we stopped.

We love this place! The ladies are always SO friendly and ready to let you taste anything. So many cheese options! Swiss with rye, lacey marble (low sodium), and the sharp cheddar are my favorites. Also a very VERY rich yummy chocolate cheese is a great dessert. Beef sticks and beef jerky are favorites. Amish jams and pickled veggies are great and a large variety of honey and honey products.

My (late) husband grew up in New Philly and always placed a winter order of his favorites (Baby Swiss, Medium Sharp Swiss, Cream Havarti, Trail Bologna) not just out of nostalgia, but because the cheese is incredibly tasty & of high quality. I'm so glad he took me to visit Yaggi's in the summer of 2011. Bright, clean, small shop with HUGE selection of delicious local & regional cheeses. Their expert staff is courteous, efficient & thorough. I'd love to visit again, but am lucky they fulfill mail orders!

Yaggi's is the bomb. You can't go wrong here. I have been going here since I was five yrs old. Just got back from OH and went to Yaggi's again. Cheese is awsome, and inexpensive compared to grocery stores. Free samples are huge and tasty. You must buy:1: Baby swiss from Guggisburg cheese factory2: Beef jerky from Uncle Mike's, Apple Creek OH3: Troyer's Trail Bolognaand don't forget the cheese snack packs they sell cheap. Leftover hunks of cheese, they are a bargain!! All cheese is sold cut to order, nothing pre-packaged. Gotta go to Yaggi's!!

Always a must when I am in New Philly! It is located on the outskirts of town among farms.They have a nice selection of cheese. I always love getting the variety cube bag so I can try all of their cheeses. Trail Bologna is also a must!

Awesome place gives you the down to earth home feeling staff was awesome and super kind offered samples and was just great. The place was clean and bug free. Was greeted with a friendly smile and was thanked and told come back again just can't say enough about it oh and the cheese was out of this world

Had a great time trying different cheeses at Yaggi's. Prices are cheaper than grocery stores and variety is good.

Definitely worth the stop! Remember that you are close to Amish country and have a sample before judging this place. They know what they are doing, the butter cheese is GOOD! We will definitely be back.

adorable little stop with plenty of delicious cheese and a variety of snacks. their Asiago cheese is incredible, and the staff are super friendly! definitely a great stop in the heart of Ohio!
