Yabo's Tacos

I'd never been to Yabo's Tacos before but we had some time so I stopped in to check it out. I ordered 2 Carolina Pork tacos- see the pic, and they were better than I imagined. See, I'm more of a traditional taco guy and have grown to like the soft tacos over time, but I've been hesitant to try other items I side besides ground beef.The BBQ pork was so good, not too saucy and very good proportions. Then add in the slaw on top... yum!! They had a nice bar on the side and lots of TVs and trivia screens as well to entertain you.Great place that I will be back to visit!!!

I stopped in After work for a margarita and some tacos. I hadn't been to Yabo's in around 5 years.It's not the authentic taco. It's Americanized Mexican but it's still delicious. Their take on a birria Taco was solid. I ordered a custom margarita and should have asked about the price. It was 15 each. Afterwards, they told me they are famous for the house margarita. I'll go that route next time.The severs were friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The bar area had regulars too which is a good sign.

Our go to for Mexican fair these days. Favorite margaritas in CBUS. Salads, Tacos, Quesadillas and Chips and Salsa all delicious! Love Thursday retro beer night, can't beat $1.50, ice cold!

Wasn't very good I got chicken tacos and the chicken was in my opinion poorly flavored no note of mexican spice whatsoever. Also service wasn't good, I like the idea of ordering at the front and seating yourself but we then had to stand in line again to get our food and if you needed anything you had to wait behind people ordering at the front which takes forever we had to get up multiple times to ask for things. Lastly they made my order wrong first go around. Plenty of other much better mexican places around.

Love their mini tacos, they are a great value at $2.50 each as well as the burrito bowl! They also have a great rotating beer selection and tasty margaritas!! Happy taco Tuesday!!

This restaurant is located in a small strip mall that has plenty of parking.When you enter there is the bar to the right and you go straight ahead, slightly to the left to order your food. I like that the menu is on the wall and it is straightforward. There's also a menu on the orders counter.There are TVs everywhere, a digital jukebox, and even a lotto kiosk.We chose the Bodacious Burrito, Yabo's Enchilada, and a Strawberry Margarita.Unfortunately, the rice was crunchy and we kept spitting out the kernels. I mentioned it and they said they would remake our orders, but I only asked them to make sure our to go order didn't have any rice.I have been here a number if times before, and I thought I got more food for the money. My husband wasn't impressed, so this place is a one and done for him.

Yabo's Tacos are delicious, with many options and combinations of sauce. I'm a fan of the strawberry jalapeño and habanero!I love to order the meal kit. For $25, you get 12 tortillas (you pick corn/flour), your choice of meat, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, sour cream, salsa, and sauces. I added sides of black beans and rice with street corn for my vegetarian. Teenagers loved making tacos from the kit, and I had enough meat left over to make nachos the next day.Staff are friendly. I've never dined in here, but it seems like a nice stop with bar, TV's, etc.

Nothing screams I want heat like a cold Christmas week. So here I am at Yabos again while finalizing my Christmas shopping. I have a feeling I should've gotten guac with my chips, but the salsa is good if not a tad spicy. Like I said, I need heat :). This trip, I got shrimp tacos, chicken, and steak. Something to relax with. New puppy shopping is hectic. Need bedding, good, toys, etc. So this is a welcome introduction.Now, as to the food: I'll agree with other reviewers, the chicken is a tad dry but not inedible. The shrimp tacos hit the spot, but the steak...Oh my Lord the steak was out of this world!! I don't know what the marinade was but it is the best I've ever had! I'm tempted to return for more after my trip to Meijer. I forgot to order the steak my usual medium rare, but I needn't have worried. It was the tenderest, most tasty piece of cow I think I have ever sank my teeth into. I was going to comment a little on the price of lunch, but I've paid more for less tasty steak at steakhouses. Will definitely return more often than annually, and I found a new favorite taco. For a bar, and not really authentic Mexican, these guys did the steak tacos justice.

. Weird place in strip mall. One side is family tables and kids claw machine and the other end of the room is a bar filled with people day drinking. The food was terrible. Like it was made by someone who never ate Mexican before. Salsa was tomato sauce. Chips burnt. Food totally bland. Like eating paper napkins. Nice staffDo not waste your money or sense of taste here.

I used Yabo's catering for my daughter's graduation party. From the time I ordered to the food delivery, every interaction was outstanding! We had the taco packages 1&2 - came with everything we needed. The delivery driver ensured the food was set up and we had everything we needed. The food was excellent and all of our guests were pleased. We had plenty of food as many of our guests were hefty eaters. I highly recommend and would definitely order again!
