This is a great hidden gem conveniently located close to shopping and just minutes from I-71. All of the apartments are recently remodeled and the complex features a heated pool and beautiful clubhouse. The grounds are adorned with beautiful flowers and trees and they overlook a little creek. The clubhouse is open and has corn hole and a ping pong table, a great tv and is perfect for entertaining. The community is pet friendly so bring your furry friends, there are plenty of places close to walk your pup and many dog parks close to the area. The apartments are close to dining options and are right across from a Graceland shopping center which has target, Kroger, LA Fitness, and a host of food options. This is a great option for anyone looking for a reasonably priced apartment.

I have lived at Worthington Gardens for eight months now and I can say that I am generally pleased with this place. Is it the classiest, most up-to-date establishment in Columbus? No. But you get what you pay for. My rent is cheap; dirt cheap, and I will sacrifice class for quality at a cheap price. This place is perfect for young-adults. It's quiet and clean, the staff is friendly and prompt, and everyone basically leaves you alone.I would definitely recommend Worthington Gardens to people looking for cheap housing. I cannot think of one thing to really complain about, except that I can hear the people living above me. But for the price of the rent it is ultimately worth it. My apartment has a balcony that resides over a beautiful ravine and is home to many different species of birds. It is also very safe. Many of the residents are older and keep to themselves. I have never had any problems with safety or security at Worthington Gardens. I definitely enjoy living here and will use it to my money-saving advantage!

I want to like these apartments. I like the location. They have rental office hours posted on the door and website. I have been there 9 times, and the office is never open!Always a sign with a ' will be back' time. Just take down your office hours. Its horrible customer service and extremely frustrating. Is there absolutely zero oversight?Maybe the women i see at the pool are the leasing agents??

I've lived here for about 6 months now and if it wasn't the dead of winter I'd be out tomorrow. I should've known it was a bad idea after dealing with multiple issues day one. If you do still feel it's the place for you, be sure to check the carpet, the water heater, the ac and the smoke detectors before accepting your apartment. Be aware that no one in the office cares about you and will literally take as long as possible to resolve any problems you have despite your many messages to their call center. You also have to mail in your rent check every month, no online payments and you can't drop it off at the office. If you really need something done, skip the office and call their corporate headquarters. It will still take a month but it's better than never.

The building has new investors as of 2016 and is in the process of undergoing major updates all over. All of the balconies have been, or are in the process of being torn down and replaced with new balconies. All of the sliding glass doors have been replaced with new modern (well sealing) doors. Old yellow exterior paint has been changed to new and much better colors and the entire parking lot was completely resurfaced in 2016. Yes, there are still more updates that need to be done inside (and they will) but overall things are improving greatly so far. Rome wasn't built in a day after all so I understand major renovations like these take time. It's quiet and peaceful with wildlife and great wooded scenery. Neighbors are very pleasant and respectful. Snow and ice are promptly addressed in the winter. The downside is that you HAVE to mail in your rent check. No website payment and can't drop it off at the office. 2017 and no website payments?? Move in now because I'm sure the rent will go up when everything is done.

Simply bc of Cindy the "property manager". This is by far the most unfriendly and stuck up "professional" I've ever dealt with. I should have know when she made the comment, "650 isn't even a high credit score." & yeah it's not, but you have no idea why someone's credit is low. Wouldn't give me straight answers. Lies about what she knows and doesn't know. Wouldn't even give me the option to have a co-signer. Didn't show us around, said there was too many of us (3) so we showed ourselves. What a shame.

I love Worthington Gardens! I have a beautiful view of the ravine from my balcony. The buildings are clean and well maintained. There are washers and dryers in all apartments. Maintenance is very quick to respond to any requests. Cindy, the manager works really hard to keep the complex beautiful. I am really grateful that she enforces the no smoking rule and makes sure residents dispose of their trash in the dumpsters instead of leaving it laying around the parking lot. Cindy hosts really fun resident parties in the beautiful clubhouse. I even see her coming into work on the weekends! I am so glad I moved to Worthington Gardens!

I have lived in a 1 bedroom apartment here for over a year now. Overall, it is a very cheap apartment, and you get exactly what you pay for in this case. I will note that I am a single woman in my 20's and I have never felt that safety was an issue here. I have never seen or heard of any break-ins or other crimes. All the buildings require a key for entry. Also, I can always find parking that is really close to the entrance of my building, and there are always plenty of spaces available for guests. The maintenance has always been great. It is a very old building, so I have had quite a few maintenance problems and they have always been resolved by the next business day. Now, onto the bad. I have recently had major pest problems. First, exterminators determined that I had carpet beetles (I was seeing at least 5 of the bugs crawling around every day). Then, I started seeing cockroaches!!! I have seen at least 4 cockroaches in my apartment and know that there are probably many, many more than that. Exterminators came and sprayed my apartment and I have not seen anymore cockroaches since then, but I have still noticed a few carpet beetles on occasion. In addition to bugs inside, there are always bees swarming around the patio area. There must be tons of nests in the floorboard of the apartment above me.Additionally, the hallways smell TERRIBLE! I have no idea what the smell is, but it's pretty awful. There are only 3 washers and dryers for the entire building and they are NASTY! Whenever I did laundry, my clothes came out smelling a little funky and did not seem to get all that clean. The last time I did laundry there, everything came out with an unidentifiable goo that could not be removed and I ended up having to throw out 3 loads of sheets and blankets. I now do my laundry at a nearby laundromat. Finally, the floors and walls seem to be pretty thin. I can always hear my upstairs neighbors walking around and can sometimes even hear their conversations!Overall, these apartments are mediocre and I would only recommend them if you can't afford anything else. I can't wait to move out!

The plumbing problems are chronic. The laundry room has been flooded for months and now there appears to be black mold growing. People throw trash on the floor. It is disgusting.

Me and my husband have been living here for years and have been happy here until now. They have replaced the decks and balcony railings. But here's the kicker, we are being dictated on how we can use our patios. You can't have a grill and have only patio chairs on the balcony and since they have a pool you can't even put your wet towel over the railing after swimming. You can't have plants of any kind on your balcony either. You have to mail your rent via a lockbox address and not the rental office. The corporate office is on 5th Avenue and you can't take it there because they have no drop box. You have a 5 day grace period after the 1st of every month to get your rent in and they no longer consider weekends, holidays, nor post mark on the envelope that you send your rent in. So they have charged us a $50.00 late fee recently which is stupid. They are too cheap to have it to where you can pay your rent online nor have it to where you can have a prepaid card that you can load your rent payment on. They are finding ways to make extra money in utilizing this business practice on working class and people on a fixed income. It's their way of weeding out people like this so that they can attract a richer clientele. We can't to move out of this place soon to where we don't have to put up with this crap.
