Wishmaker House Bed and Breakfast

My husband and I stopped in for a glass of wine and a charcuterie board and got to speak with the owner who is truly amazing. His staff is an attentive and make sure you feel like a king and a queen just while sitting and having a glass of wine.I didn't stay here, but I wish I hadn't stayed somewhere else. This place is meticulous. It is so beautiful. They had live music in the garden and a view of the park next-door. This is really a special place. This is a definite stop while in Ohio or a definite destination.

An overnight stay here is really relaxing and fun. Even if you're not staying here, stopping by for some food, drink and especially Cheesecake is a must. There is plenty of seating inside but enjoying the outside seating during warm weather is wonderful! We stopped by for some samples and Cheesecake, Dolly parton strawberry pretzel, which did not disappoint.

Food was okay, service wasn't bad but rather slow. we had an igloo and it was comfortable but smells strongly of plastic -- even with a candle lit.

This was our third time at Wishmaker B&B. Everything was wonderful as always, visited many wineries in the surrounding area. Donnie and Katherine were great hosts. Loved the igloos, spent one evening having wine and snacks there. The rooms had everything you would need; even a stepstool to get into the bed for the vertically challenged

This is a beautiful bed and breakfast in Bellevue. We didn't stay the night but dined at the restaurant after a recommendation from a friend. They offer a bar, indoor dining, or outdoor dining in igloos. We chose to dine in one of the igloos that seats 6 people. They have heaters in them to keep patrons cozy. Each igloo is decorated differently. We dined in one decorated like a little summer garden. The food was delicious. I ordered the burger. They are also known for their cheesecakes. They offer a wide selection of delicious cheesecakes. This was a wonderful experience.

Reserved an igloo for a 40th birthday celebration. Food was good but some food could have been hotter, some people really loved their cheesecake others said it was just ok. The entire night ended with an appearance by a skunk which I supposed could happen but how the restaurant handled it was very disappointing and hard to believe. The skunk was outside the igloos just walking around. Then a server came out to try and gently coax it outside of the fence with a broom. This didn't work and after multiple attempts some other servers came and took selfies with the skink. We were stuck in the igloo waiting for dessert or the server to let us know what was going on. They then had a neighbor come over with a gun and did not even give any customer an option of moving away from the area. They were around 10 ft away and had to be aiming the gun in our general direction when he shot the skunk. They then shot the gun multiple times. One of the people in our party was in the military and mentioned how he was very concerned it could have ricochet towards anyone. Multiple bad decisions in this whole situation. Another member in the party was very upset and tried to talk to someone. They just looked at her and after all of that no one apologized. The whole situation was handled extremely bad. We left smelling like skunk . I feel like they could have said if you would like dessert we will package it up for you and tell us they were firing a gun in our direction

Came to Wishmaker House for dessert and was not disappointed! The housemade cheesecake was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed the wine tastings. The Peach wine tasted like biting into a real peach.

Our server Bethany was absolutely fanastic! Our group swelled to 26 adults, all senior citizens. She presented excellent service and professionally assisted with menu explanations, and took the time to unharriedly explain options when asked. Through it all she never lost her contagious smile. The meals were spot on! Post meal comments were all very positive! Surely a 5 Star Presentation in all facets.

Had a bunch (like 10) wine samples! They are .50 eachMy husband had a glass of cab sav - it was good. "Smooth and kinda oaky"I also had a pear sangria - it was okThe pretzel sticks were not really pretzel sticks. They were shaped like pretzel sticks but takes kinda like a pretzel/biscuit. Unique for sure!! We also had a bbq pineapple flatbread. It was fantastic Ended with maple bourbon cheese cake, (very good) and a fancy coffee with woodford bourbon - amazing

Always a treat! The chicken salad wrap is fresh and flavorful with some big chunks of chicken. The Reuben Flatbread was crispy and tasted reubenesque. The peach sangria was light and refreshing. No pics, but we tried the key lime cheesecake (nice and tart) and the Italian lemon cake. We left with multiple leftover containers and bottles of wine to enjoy later. Our server was excellent. Thanks for another good experience!
