Expensive. Charcuterie board was great. This was definitely a place I tried with friends and had no intention on going back. Just not myCup of tea. 4/10.

Well we gave this place a second chance and much to our surprise we were disappointed once again. A year ago we went to this establishment upon moving to the Findlay area. Our experience there the first time was startling . The owner was berating a female employee there , insulting her and talking with her in a very belittling manor. The girls eyes watered as he was very improper. We went again last week to get a specific wine for a gift. Dan the owner basically told us the wine was garbage and we were probably amateur wine drinkers. He immediately tried to educate us on another selection 40 dollars more. This was after we already told him what we wanted and the price range we wanted to be in . This gentleman was rude. Please take your wine business to his competitor.

Good place for a light lunch, clean with friendly, prompt service and, certainly important, QUIET! I could actually have a civilized conversation with my guest.**note to Yelp: Need a noise level filter.I'm not sure why I persist ordering crab cakes. At least this version came with a tasty sauce on a bed of baby spinach. Tomato soup was bland, but ok.The star was lost because our empty plates remained on the table long enough to become annoying. Compounding the issue was there was ample opportunity for servers to clear the table as they passed by, empty handed. Just a pet peeve.

We just happened upon this place by chance, and what a lucky discovery it was! One room holds a treasure trove of great wines and craft beers, and the other has a small wine bar plus craft beers, several tables and delicious food. Family owned & operated, friendly and very knowledgeable with great wine recommendations. (We left with several ). One big regret: it's not in our home town in Michigan!

Passing thru town on Christmas Eve day looking for someplace for lunch. Yelp reviews led us here and it was great! Marvelously creative sandwiches, and the lobster bisque is to die for.In the wine dept, they had one of the best collections of Orin Swift wines I've ever seen. Owner was a nice guy too. Highly recommended!

This place is probably best for lunch . That means I'm totally encouraging you to day drink. I mean, why not, considering I visit Findlay for vacation time and I don't have any serious obligations !I love the sandwiches and soups, and of course the wine! I used to live in Findlay so I love reuniting with friends and family at this spot. I've been here in the evenings before but it can be quite crowded. A good problem to have...not really complaint-worthy as the servers and bartenders are busting their butts! The actual wine store is great to pass through on your way in or out. It has some great varieties of beer and wine, many of which types are new to me. I truly have no complaints- one of the best spots in Findlay !

Love this place. A great selection. Excellent customer service. They didn't have a certain bottle I was looking for, but had it ordered and available for purchase by the next day!

Great friendly service. Here in town, we buy our wine as they have a diverse selection. Ambience of the shopping experience is like talking with a family member.

Dan (the owner) is absolutely amazing! He is always friendly and does a great job of helping pick the right wine for what you need. We also regularly get meat from here now because it is the best we can find - all of their food is the highest quality and never disappoints. Dan also hosts various special events/dinners/tastings throughout the year that are delicious. It's great to have a place like Wine Merchant in downtown Findlay!
