Whit's Frozen Custard - Marysville

I've always liked Whit's, and I've always liked frozen custard. Plus, they make their own root beer. Well, they have it made for them, but still. This is a skinny little shop in downtown Marysville. Seating along one side. Not busy at all when I went, on a dreary winter day. Probably packed in the summer. They have a variety of flavors, and you can get assorted toppings. I just went with a root beer float. It was very good, and they give you the rest of the root beer in the bottle. That's nice, to add in later. Prices are decent, service was good, it's a nice little place.

Never been to whits, and this was my first time. Really good frozen custard. I liked having sampled a bit, and the worker was very helpful.

I'm from Missouri born and raised and love a good frozen custard as a result (we only do custard in St. Louis no ice cream). I think Witt's frozen custard is great at every location! This location is no exception. The high school students who are the most prevalent workers here are nice and couldn't have been sweeter with our kids - very patient asking what they wanted to the kids; it made them feel "so big".

Always amazing ice cream at reasonable prices and friendly faces serving it. Whit's is a true throw back to a bygone era of the traditional ice cream shop. The people who work there really seem to be helpful and willing to offer samples of any flavor they have. And they have a LOT of flavors to pick from, including traditional flavors and some you may not expect. My wife and I love Whit's and try to get over there a couple of times a month for some really great desserts. My favorite is the traditional sundae and my wife loves, well just about any of their chocolate offerings. I highly recommend Whit's for some really fantastic ice cream!

I've only eaten here once, but the frozen custard at Whit's was pretty good. Not mind blowing, not stellar, not new and amazing. But pretty good. I ordered a small turtle sundae, which was vanilla frozen custard topped with caramel, hot fudge and pecans. The sauces were pretty standard, similar to stuff in jars you'd find at any grocery store, but the pecans were whole and salty and sooooo delicious with the sweet creamy custard. My custard seemed to melt super quick when compared to normal ice cream, though, so eat it fast. The 2 girls working behind the counter were kind of friendly, but in a snotty kind of way (they made us feel awkward since we weren't regulars and couldn't read everything on the chalkboard, and they also eyeballed us like we were bugging them while we ate our sundaes inside which made us shuffle out the doors and join all the other diners outside. Guess now we know why nobody else was sitting indoors). And they're closed for 3 months in the winter?!?! (Come on, you're not Dairy Queen!) Overall, it was good frozen custard, but nothing special enough to make me want to run back when they decide to reopen for the Spring.

Well it finally caught up to Whit's. Smaller buns, smaller portions, higher prices. Plus the last two times I got a sandwich there the meat was not hot, barely warm.

Love the Whit's in Marysville! When we want a treat in Marysville we go to Whit's 8 out of 10 times. It is definitely my favorite of all the Whit's locations I have been to. It's very consistent quality.The staff is very friendly.They are quick and professional.It's clean.I have no complaints.

Whit's is always delicious! I've never had a bad experience here, and our family has enjoyed every flavor we have tried. The servings are huge for the price. Most importantly.. The customer service is the best of the best! Our favorite spot for sweets in town. :)
