White Shutter Winery & Brewery

Nice little business at a farm setting that we took advantage of via Groupon. Only downside was that when we came in the afternoon we were not told that we'd have to leave in 45-60 minutes as the building was being rented for a private group. Probably would have stayed longer and spent more.

We went Friday 10/7 for a tasting. We didn't expect much for a winery in Nevada Ohio but let me tell you we were pleasantly surprised. Joe and Cindy Kraus greeted us as soon as we walked in. We did the tasting and all the wines were delicious. The tasting room is in the house. He could explain the wines and actually had some grape varietals that I'd never drank before. Try the wine century club to see more grapes to try. Very pleasant people offering pleasantly good wines.

Very nice wines and very friendly service. Has a family environment which is nice as well. Will be back.

This local winery has great options for wine and excellent, unique activities. The wine and yoga class is super affordable. The atmosphere is great for a quiet evening. They're constantly adding entertainment options including live music by local musicians and fundraisers for local nonprofits. Highly recommended for a gathering or solo evening to enjoy a good book and a glass of wine.
