Such A Beautiful Park!Decided to take a second to stop as we were passing through and we are so happy we did! We really enjoyed seeing the vast variations of flowers. Plenty of opportunity of fantastic photo ops for any occasion. We felt such a peace as we were passing through.Benches and archways were also present throughout the park. Glad we stopped.

Such a lovely stroll when the roses are in bloom! Stopped in after breakfast for a little walk around the park to see the roses in bloom. Everything looked beautiful and because it was overcast, it wasn't busy. It's such a peaceful place to spend some time.

Came here for a walk on a Monday morning, biked here but saw plenty of parking. Not too many people, good amount of shade. Sprinklers were on! Lots of roses, very pretty park to walk around. Would recommend!

Must be magnificent when roses are blooming. Visited in October. Still peaceful and enjoyable despite little color or blooms.Frequent weddings in the garden.Lots of free parking and free admission.Public library is nearby, but don't park in that parking lot. There's a much closer parking lot. Rose garden is large and hiding behind a building. Walk uphill or ascend some stairs.

The Park of Roses is a beautifully maintained rose garden that butts up against a community park and ultimately can join up to the Olentangy Trail. It's at the most beautiful during rose season in the late spring/early summer, but once the blossoms fade, there is a lot of greenery, a fountain, and some peaceful benches to enjoy. The paths are paved. Portable restrooms are available in the park side. I love to take my dog here for a ramble. I like that you can alter your path and take a longer or shorter walk/run/ride on different days. Also accessible from the Park of Roses is a little fishing and duck pond. My dog really likes the ducks. Note that I have had issues with off leash dogs here in the past. No, I don't care that "he's friendly" I do not want my properly leashed dog to be rushed. There's decent parking here, between the rose garden and the soccer fields as well.

Wow! I had practically no idea that this park existed for the entire 15 years I lived in Central Ohio. It makes me so sad that I discovered it as soon as I was moving away. :(I had heard about the Park of Roses before but just kind of envisioned a small park with a few rose bushes. Shame on me for not going out and exploring more! Within my last 4 weeks in Ohio, I helped out with an event my church was supporting that took place in one of the shelter houses. This park is so massive that I got lost with the parking situation! Finally, I was able to find the location. But needless to say, this is one of the bigger parks in Columbus. It actually worked out well that I parked in the wrong location. That allowed me to see the gorgeous grounds simply covered in a colorful array of roses. I made it a point to stop by again after the event. That is exactly what I did and it was so incredibly peaceful, scenic and serene. The fountain is gorgeous and is probably my favorite part of the park. I really did not want to leave. This would be an excellent spot to come and do family pics, engagement pics, even an actual engagement would be wonderful (and I'm sure there have been many!). I am a runner and wish I would have known about this park as it would have made for a scenic long run. Definitely a sight to see if you're ever in the area!

Apparently roses were not in season when I visited. It was nonetheless a nice area, adjoining the waterfront trail and possessing a manicured garden as well as a wilder area with plenty of greenery. The buildings were not open, but a reasonably clean array of portapotties was at least available. And despite the area being well-attended, there was plenty of parking, and a variety of sports fields and a library within walking distance as well.
