West Sports Bar

Choose another place! Ambiance is five star for sports fans yes. Place was freezing inside, most of us ate with our coats on. Service? Well our waitress was funny and seemed adorable. We tipped her well. Our food, yes we had eight people with simple orders but over AN HOUR wait? The restaurant was empty and bar had 4 people drinking beer. I mean not one person eating in restaurant area. While waiting AFTER we ordered approx 4 other families came in, ordered, got drinks, got soup and salads, then food... then our food came. None I mean none of our food was served warm. How sad. This is bar food...That's my pet peeve. My dad's fish was so well done that it was black and he couldn't break it in half with his hands hardly, the worst ever. We couldn't understand HOW COULD the COOK send it out like that ??? So dad got to watch us all eat. When we were done, his came out. Nope, NEVER Again. We went out of our way to go there. So disappointed. I chose the place for my dads and sisters birthday celebration - HUGE mistake.

The 3 of us ordered salmon with a bourbon BBQ glaze. It came with broccoli and rice.The salmon was overcooked and the glaze was all over the plate. The rice and broccoli was swimming in the glaze and therefore tasted like it. We also order zucchini planks. They were well presented but were way too salty and I like salt! It was noisy as happy hour was going on. We had hope to be in the dining area which has an outdoor dining area.Our server was efficient and very nice. That was the only thing good about the experience. The 2 people I brought were unimpressed and said they won't be back. I will as I know the salads and sandwiches offer some good choices.

Despite what reviewer Thomas A. says, The West has done a complete 180 is now amazing.new management and new staff all around has turned this place into what it always should have been. Great food, excellent service, and Jeramiah has really done a great job bringing events to The West as well. I highly recommend checking this place out now that it's turned around.

New management 2020. Great wings, cold beer. Several tvs. Multiple rooms. It's a friendly joint.

Went to eat with my family...it took forever for the food to come and when the appetizers came the waitress refused to provide us with plates and we had to eat with paper towels on the table...half the food was either burnt, forgotten or not fully cooked....the waitress Auzah was also the rudest waitress I have ever encountered...I will not be back...and do yourself a favor a JUST DON'T GO

So I ordered the steak Philly and much to my surprise that the portions were not what the sandwich was priced. I think this will be the last that I order this bread sandwich. (Light on the steak) plenty of cheese though

Service- the waiter who we had named Kevin was excellent! He is friendly, courteous, and quick to meet our needs in a timely manner! We will definitely be back!

First time every going to this place a few weeks ago. Amazing service very nice and polite. Food is also very good. I recommend the burgers. This restaurant is something I would recommend if you are visiting the Wheeling area.

We had a party of 13 people coming - we were able to sit immediately. Only seemed to be one waiter who was working extremely hard. Food did take a long time and most of it was cold. Everything you buy does not come with fries you have to order on the side so each mean cost 10-15 and fries are 4.95.

We have enjoyed this menu for many years. The added dinners from the Stratford Springs menu is an added bonus. Jeremiah and his team pull off an enjoyable meal with great music and drinks. The main dining room is a little overwhelming with its vastness but the enclosed and open patios are great spots!
