$19 chicken and waffles. Funny thing, only one side burnt and they didn't even think to put that side down in the plate!

West Ave Tavern is a great local spot. Everything we've had on their menu is tasty. We especially love the cheeseburger wrap and the pistachio cake!!!

The food is fantastic! Absolutely loved both of our meals. The Salmon was cooked to perfection with my salad and the homemade dressing was delicious. Great job West Ave Tavern!

Delanie's was sold and has been rebranded as West Ave Tavern. Much of the old menu has been kept and the décoré is the same. If you liked Delanie's you will like this place. Service is very good with a very friendly staff. It is a casual environment good for families or if you want to watch a game at the bar. I had the chicken and waffles - they were okay. More like chicken tenders and waffles. My wife had a wedge salad that was very good. I will go back

We tried samples of their food at the Tallmadge Chamber Expo Event this year and liked the food. We finally went there to enjoy the amazing food. Not quit sure what happened, but it was horrible. We will not go back. There were three of us and the bill was $110.00 before tip and soda to drink. The food tasted like the fryer grease needed changed. The lobster Mac and cheese was gross.

This was my first trip since the new ownership- I had been meaning to get here much sooner, just never made it. I am here to say that I like the menu choices better now, the mozzarella sticks were battered- not the usual crumb coating- I really enjoyed that. Service was good. I had a fall harvest salad with white French which was delicious - my only complaint was that I wish they had used whole or halved candied nuts - it appeared that they were ground and if they were candied I couldn't detect it. Greens and apples were very fresh. My friend had the beer battered fish- it appeared to be a huge serving but once the thick friend batter was removed there wasn't much. He said the fish was "ok" (too much batter) and the fries were good. My grandson had the steak stir fry and he liked it - there were some good pieces of steak, but there were also some fatty and gristly pieces that were inedible. Good flavor for the stir fry, overall. The decor is typical sports bar with some Americana mixed in - comfortable - several big screens with sporting events on them. One thing that I found to be really nice was the wooden "thin blue line" American flag plaque with the #45 on it- hanging right above the kitchen door. What a sweet honor to fallen Twinsburg police officer Josh Miktarian from Tallmadge whose widow and daughter live here, and have been extremely supportive of the community. A nice touch! So overall, average meal, and good service. We will be back to try some other options.

After Krista Kane wrote a review of this restaurant in the "Akron Beacon Journal", my friend & I took note and resolved to try it. The chef has worked at many noteworthy restaurants and has a marvelous repertoire of dishes. One can find a diversity of dishes to fit anyone's pleasure, vegetarian or not.We will definitely return many more times!

I guess i have to begin at the beginning to let you grasp the true sadness of this visit. Party of three at about 7:10 on a Tuesday. We were sat immediately. We hadn't been there in a decade so it was essentially our "first" time. We had enough time before we were greeted to look at the entire menu, many times, decide on apps and even pick, and change our minds about entrees before we ever met our waitress. She asked our drinks and quickly turned and returned to kitchen before i could order the apps. Upon returning with the beverages, she again quickly turned away, i spoke up and asked if we could order our apps. After about twenty minutes i asked her as she was walking by if we could order our food. She commented how she was waiting until after she brought our apps. We ordered. Eventually apps came. There where more examples of the poor service (a host visited our table and saw that EVERYBODY had an empty glass and said and did nothing, then actually when the waitress dropped off the apps she again turned away quickly and i had to ask for refills. When they returned my beverage was now in my husbands cup and his in mine. Our cups were different colors, but enough is enough. Food was over sold on the menu and over priced. Burnt "house made" waffle (what waffle iron burns one side?) dry frozen chicken , with syrup that tasted like they just mixed it with cheap bourbon. I can put up with crap service and no refills and never coming to ask me if i need anything after deliver the meal, if the food is on point! Lobster bisque??? My bad for not asking if it was real lobster. $8 for a bowl that is really a cup, i mean it's actually a cup, and fake seafood. $19 for the chicken and waffles! Bad food, bad service. So sad.

This was not our first visit but the first time I left baffled. Everything was good to start we had our drinks and our order was in. As we were waiting we noticed that a party of ten was finishing up as a party of 16 was coming in and it appeared there was only one server. This is important become it makes it nearly impossible to get anything such as a refill. Our food comes and my order was wrong, which isn't the end of the world and I just asked to have it fixed. It came back 30 seconds later and I wish I took a picture but I didn't know you could add pics as this is my first and hopefully only review. However, it was less than desirable and I asked to speak with a manger. At this point we didn't have any drinks, no silverware, and no napkins. I can see our waitress is taking the order for the 16 top so I ask the hostess that is also the food runner to speak to a manager and my wife told him we needed silverware. He brought one piece of silverware and I was told okay I'll go get her. I wait about 10 min to ask him again to speak with the manager since my wife finished her food ( with no drink), my one son couldn't eat his side with no fork, and my youngest (5) had finger food but spilled a little of his ketchup and we had to use the tiny napkin under my sons fruit to clean him up. Finally our waitress comes back and said "did they make it wrong?" Followed by "I rang it in right".... Btw my wife was suppose to have tomato and didn't, but I'd did. Anyways. I explain to her everything above and empathize with her that being the only server must be hard but again asked to speak with a manger, she comes back and gives us the check and tells me she took my wrap off...( thanks since I never got to eat it). We again asked for the manager and I was told she's not coming, she's doing a catering order. We pay, and she brings the card back and I asked, still no manager and as she walks away she says a long noooo. Baffled.

Stopped in for lunch and had a draft beer and a sandwich with fries on the side. The food and service was very good but mixed into the decor was a "45" wood flag on the wall. I think that restaurants should not be pushing there political beliefs onto there customers. I will not be returning.
