Small hole in wall places have the best meals. Friday night is fish all you eat with 2 sides. Breakfast is good but if they are busy it's going to take a while to get. They also have fresh baked goods.

Stopped for breakfast today and a minication at Mohican Lodge. Just a little over six miles away. We visited on a whim due to the previous reviews on Yelp. Wedgewing is a lovely little family restaurant. Some 2-tops, several booths, and a few tables for larger parties. We picked a booth to sit in, the waitress wiped down the table while picking up her tip from the previous diners. A very nice menu! My wife decided on their Breakfast Salute, scrambled, with sausage patty while I decided on their Breakfast Skillet 1/2 serving with ham. We both ordered coffee as well. Must admit the coffee wasn't that good; however, our breakfasts were! Large portions and delicious! If we're in the neighborhood again, we will need to visit (sans coffee).

Off the beaten path. A little family operated Bakery and Restaurant. Great food and service. It's one of those places where everyone knows you. Serves breakfast and lunch only.

Nice little country restaurant with limited hours. Great for breakfast. But my wife does not like the way they scramble their eggs.

Swung back here after our Mohican adventures. We took the 2 patio tables since it was warm. Shared 2 sampler baskets, all pretty yummy. I had meatloaf sandwich (huge portion) w/ potato salad since it was so good last visit. Added cup of chili which was good too - kinda sweet w/ no whole beans kinda like sloppy joe. Tried the coleslaw, it's the non creamy vinegar style. Not bad but I'm the creamy type! Bro's Double Doozy looked colossal & he approved. Fries were crispy and seasoned. We grabbed 2 containers of 6pk cookies at $4 ea. Chocolate chip was good, chewy style. The shortbread was too soft not dry or stiff enough so you couldn't even pick it up to eat, just crumbles in your fingers. Server was good w no issues. Delicious food here so we'll stop again.

This was a surprise. Not a fancy place at all but not a dive. Good, simple, honest home cooking that hasn't lost its charm and importance in American cuisine. We ordered the corned beef salute and the sunrise salute. Both were delicious. The corned beef isn't crispy but it's not canned either. It's actual corned beef like you'd have left over corned beef from your St. Patrick's day dinner. The depth of flavor is outstanding. The sunrise salute was fresh and flavorful as well. If you don't make reservations, which you can, expect to wait in line. While you do so you're surrounded by freshly made donuts and cookies coming out of the kitchen. Food took a while to come out but that's because they cook it to order so it's fresh. Service was a bit inattentive but they were hyper busy. Will return and recommend.

This place is a rare gem find. Great food, great service, locally owned. The homemade meatloaf and fried chicken were exceptional. The sides like mashed potatoes, cole slaw, and noodles were all very good. As others have mentioned, save room for the home-baked pies, pastries, and homemade ice cream.Oh, and check their web page for the correct hours. My phone kept telling me they were closed when they weren't.

I was camping in Butler County and the host recommended this place as one of her and her husband's favorite spots. I now know why. The service was great and the homemade Hash was even better. Homemade Rye bread....YES!!!!I love to see that even in challenging times that this small town restaurant is still thriving.

Ordered our lunch for pick up at the side window. We took it to a small park near by. The burgers and onion rings were done to perfection! We also got some buckeyes for dessert to eat on the way home. Can't wait to go back.

A great family owned business. Food and service are really good. Servers are very attentive and friendly. She also scratch bakes dessert. So get a to go box if you don't have room. Her cheesecake is my favorite. Forget the chain restaurants eat her!
