Waves Bar & Kitchen

Spotted in Old Town East, this convenient bar and its patio provided delectable drinks and brunch offerings. We sampled two types of Margarita pitchers, both of which demonstrated the bar's attention to detail in terms of flavor and alcohol content. Despite a respectable gathering, the bar's indoor and outdoor seating areas showed a clear emphasis on accommodating a sizable clientele. The music selection, while not overbearing, supplemented the overall ambiance, making for a pleasurable Sunday afternoon experience with friends! Although the food preparation time exceeded expectations, my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit, appreciating the venue's many offerings.

Update...I went there for an event and sat at the bar for almost 20 minutes. It was dirty and no one ever greeted me! Mind you there were four bartenders... Don't go it's a waste of your time and energy... maybe not your money cause you may not have the opportunity to order anything!

Gréât vibe, friendly staff. A short list menue, but awesome items like alligator bites and fried green tomatoes. A lovely edition to the neighborhood! Thé bar top is one gorgeous piece of solid epoxy. Come to see that alone!*woman owned and run for the win

I live a 5 minute walk away from this place and finally got around to checking it out. It is so good!! The bar is beautiful and looks like a beach. You could play I Spy to see what little details you can find in it. Our service was very attentive and nice. I got the fried shrimp basket and it was the best fried shrimp I've eaten in probably years. I will admit I didn't have high expectations for fried shrimp from a bar, but this shrimp was absolutely delicious. The cook did end up trashing the first batch he made because it wasn't up to his standards which I super appreciated. Not all restaurants will do stuff like that. The drink I had was amazing too. I love their cute cups! Make sure to check this place out.

A solid new addition to King Lincoln! Came in with my hubby and enjoyed quite a bit of the menu, drinks, fried green tomatoes, burger, boneless wings, fries, cookies. The food was good and came out pretty fast, and the fried green tomatoes were DELICIOUS. Check out the bar - one solid acrylic ocean scene with incredible details. Looking forward to watching this place grow and provide an awesome food and entertainment venue in the area. I am told they have a yummy taco tuesday and will has bourbon flights in the near future!

I ordered from the new brunch menu i had the potato's with smoke turkey and i also enjoyed the flavorful shrimp and grits with smoke turkey. This brunch menu should definitely be considered as the daily menu!!! This is a must try

They high as h*ll here, but the food is incredible. A bit slow too. The flavor makes the visit worth it. Amazing catfish and grits. Everything seasoned very well.

The food and drinks were great. The food was seasoned and the right temperature. The staff was professional and attentive. There was a wait for the food due to only one chef / cook in the kitchen however the wait was worth it. The owner also came out and introduced himself. Will definitely go back
