W.g. Grinders

Turkey club combo with cheddar mac salad is fantastic. We haven't been to a WG Grinders since they went to independently owned location years and years ago, other times they were closed to multiple issue. We stopped in today; the side salads and grinders have held up to the test of time.We did dine in, staff is friendly, seating area is clean and has tv's.They have daily specials too.

This has got to be the best sandwich shops in Columbus. Fantastic grinders and sides. This last time I got the original Italian with a side of slaw. This is a toasted sub with a great amount of meat and cheese. They wrap it all up with the lettuce in a clear plastic bag to keep it from wilting. That's going the extra mile in my book. Just perfect.

Restaurant was dirty. Tables all dirty and sticky. The steak was dry and not tasty. Will not return.

Great spot! The guy at the counter was pleasant and to the point and we only waited maybe 5 minutes while they made our sandwiches. The interior was homey and retro. The sandwiches were great. Crunchy, thick bread filled to the brim with quality meat and cheese! The veggies on the club were fresh and tasty. Better than subway by a LONGSHOT. They obviously weren't skimping on quality or quantity of ingredients with our order. Truly, some great grinders! Would definitely recommend this location.

The way a grinder should be. Great baguette with a crunchy crust. The Italian had all the iconic meats and cheese. Ran thru a conveyer oven and very good. You gotta try iy.

Grinders used to be all over, and we often went to the closest one. Now, there are only a few. This was handy, and had a steady stream of pickup orders on a Sunday evening.Pretty much the same menu as always. I got a Sicilian, an Italian sub with sausage. Great meat, good bread, fresh veggies. We got macaroni salad and pasta salad for Baby K. They also had juice boxes for kids, which is nice.Service was great. Prices are reasonable. Quality is very good.

This place feels like it hasn't changed in 20 years or more. The food was warm. The service was somewhat efficient.

Staff was friendly and food was great. BEST health bar cookies in the WORLD! Meatball stromboli is a must! The 5-alarm chicken and the Rueben are my Go-To's...plus the Greek Salad. Definitely worth going to!

Workers are not pleasant. No hellos, how are you, what can we help you with? or thank yous. Instructed us how to put trash away which was kind of insulting. I used to love this place.

Hands down, the best sandwich ive had since moving to columbus! Bread was fresh, soft, and crispy and the flavors were outstanding! Definitely making this a regular spot for lunch.
