On a cold but sunny February day, my bestie and I set out from Columbus to an Indian food truck we had heard of just off I-70 in London, Ohio. Legend had it, this food truck serves the freshest and most authentic Indian food this side of Mumbai. When we got to the famous yellow food truck, alas it was closed. But we were saved! There was a blue Indian food truck across the street and it was open! That's how we discovered and fell in love with Ustaad da Dhabi.I had the best and most delicious Indian meal of my life sitting in my car at a food truck parked at a London, Ohio truck stop. I know it sounds nuts! But wow, this lady can cook. She's so nice and friendly, too. Well worth a drive from Columbus if you love Indian food and adventures!I had the mutter paneer, bestie got the Shahi paneer. We both had the enormous and delicious stuffed roti - almost steering wheel size! Curries came with generous portions of rice and we got chai tea as an accompaniment - the tastiest I've ever had. Everything was fresh, wonderful and tasted homemade, per my bestie who is from India. Can't wait to go back again soon!

Truck stop , food truck, Indian cuisine...this is new for me. I love Indian food, and a good food truck is always fun, but I'm not used to this kind of location. I was riding the bike near London and had a craving, so I opened Yelp and found this place - and another one on the other side of the road. Both had good ratings, so I went for it. Ustaad Da Dhaba is parked next to a questionable looking vape shop, so ambiance is not their strong point. But as I stood in the lot taking of my helmet and stuff, I watched a steady stream of Indian guys - presumably truck drivers - cross route 42 to get in line. It's always a good sign when ethnic restaurants are frequented by folks from their part of the world. I jumped in the queue and was greeted by a couple of the guys in line. Very nice fellows. One after another, the ladies in the truck handed bags of food out to these drivers, who crossed back over to their trucks to have their dinner. Hopefully a little touch of home for them. When it was my turn, the gal working the window switched to perfect English and took my order. She was super polite and friendly. I ordered the chicken curry and a mango lassi. It's a food truck, so the presentation was nothing special. My bag contained a large clamshell container of lightly spiced rice, and a plastic tub of the curry. The portion size was HUGE, and if I hadn't been on the bike I would have taken half of it home for the next day. Everything was piping hot and fresh. With the amount of customers I saw, I assume that they don't have problems with things getting cold or stale. My meal was fantastic! The curry was spicy and flavorful, and the lassi was perfect. I can't recommend visiting by motorcycle, because there is nowhere to sit and eat if you don't have a vehicle, so I'll be back in the car. If the owners read this, I hope they will consider setting up a picnic table or two. Regardless, for what this is - a truck stop food truck - it's a solid 5.

There's no point to order on the phone.. they will tell you 20 minutes on the phone and when you go there to pick up your food they will make you wait for another 20 minutes..
