Best pierogi in Columbus, maybe in all Ohio.
Tulip Cafe - the nutella cookie is amazing and worth the 4 bucks.

Found these merengue cookies at Westerville Farmers Market on 9/21/19. Yummy!
Line is long at Sweet Cle-bus but worth it.
Loki wishes they had dog watering hole stations. That would be a nice touch.

Went to get coffee today at Espresso Air and learned the farmers market was today (Saturday) so we decided to walk a block and check it out. The ambiance is very family friendly, dog friendly and includive. Great vibe! It has gotten considerably larger since they moved it to the big public lot behind Jimmy V's. The market was celebrating its 10th anniversary and was giving out free reusable sacks to every person/family that entered, which was a nice bonus! Our small dog, Loki was given his pre market pep talk (by his humans) of no barking and no fighting with the big dogs or taking ice cream out of babes hands.... He promised to be on biscuits best behavior. There were plenty of dogs there.... Loki was happy about that. Kids werent off the rails here, that was nice. However, people need to realize not every dog wants a human, kid or big dog to surprise it to say hello without asking its owner first. there may or may not of been a bit of barking at that occasion. Lol. There was a nice selection of vendors. Many local farmers. Good selection of freshly butchered meats. We left with some lamb, Tulip Cafe desserts and a dozen pierogis from our most fav vendor "Sweet Cle-bus" I have to give the vendor, Tulip Cafe, big props. Seldom do I think a cookie is worth 3 dollars let alone four... but their nutella cookie is completely worth it. I would of been buying this often and by the dozens if my kids were still little. Its the perfect amount of sweetness and you just feel better about it being made with Nutella vs chocolate. Would of had a close up picture for you all but I ate it and did not and would not share. Thank you Westerville for hosting such a nice variety of vendors. We enjoyed our visit and hope to stop back!

Our first time since 2019 & it felt so good to be back. Although the markets are relatively small, there was a great assortment of products. We left with local honey & peanut butter, and our friends left with lemonade, strawberries, herbs and more. Was hoping for more fresh produce, but it was only the 1st week of opening so I'm sure more will come! Definitely worth a look!

We love visiting farmers markets for our Saturday morning snack time during the summer! The uptown Westerville market is small with your typical market vendors. Lots of food. Dog-friendly (but not always friendly dogs - we did experience a tense few moments while some dogs were not happy to see each other). I like that it has a one-way flow to the market so you know you haven't missed any of the great booths.

Visited this Farmer's market on Sat 9/21/19. It was raining so not crowded at all. Found a new sweet that I love - merengue cookies by vendor solo merengues. There was a man playing the guitar under one of the tents- kudos to him for sticking it out through the rain. For a small market, great selection of fruits, veggies, flowers, and sweets!

I've got nothing against the major farmers' markets in Columbus. In my mind, the more markets we have, the better, and the big Saturday markets are a great way to get everyone out and connected with a lot of farmers. But sometimes I don't want to fight the madding crowds just to pick up some local meat and veg. That's where the Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market comes in. This Wednesday night market is easily accessible. It's right on State Street in Uptown, and parking is easy and close. Though small, this market has a well-rounded set of vendors. They may not have all the choices or all the vendors that the bigger markets have, but there are always enough vegetable, meat, and cheese vendors to pick up the staples. This is overall my favorite market, because I can shop the whole place in about 15 minutes, then get home with plenty of time to fix up my finds for supper.

In a word, shmoobleybog! Okay, fine, that's not a word. ANYwho, neat little market, some really nice little options. Great milk awailable, nice meat as well, and GREAT produce, although I would like to see some fruit options and not just the greens. Thought about giving a 3 due to the fact that many a stand is cash only, but narp. Solid stop by.Many bothans died to bring us this information...

This market used to be a nice market. The attitude & atmosphere has definitely changed and seemingly not for the better. Last year we started to notice it but this year it is not a pleasant atmosphere and the market manager is extremely rude and just plain nasty. If you try to ask her a question or make a comment she rips your head off and storms away. Many of the venders seem to have acquired a bad attitude also. I wouldn't recommend this market at all anymore. I hope someone starts a new one to replicate the market as it used to be a couple years ago. Wake up Westerville it is time to clean up the market and get back to being a market we are proud to have and attend. I am not sure why there was a management change but it is not for the better. I and many of my family and friends will be looking for a new farmers market to occupy my time and money but it won't be the Westerville Farmers market.Mrs. Markly
