Uncle Pete’s

I've eaten here for over 15 years, largely when it was located in North Wheeling. I've essentially always ordered the same thing, but have had most of the menu with others. I often stop by if I'm passing through town. Everything on the menu is not great, but if you get the right thing you'll have a great meal. The best thing on the menu is the stuffed shrimp. You'll be hard pressed to find a better order of stuffed shrimp anywhere else, certainly in the area and likely just about anywhere. Other apps including the fried zucchini and stuffed peppers also very solid. I always get the pastrami sandwich. Reliable, solid, well executed sandwich. French dip also a good pick. Chicken or beef tips, and open faced turkey/beef dinners also decent picks. Worth a stop if you're passing through. Get the shrimp and you're guaranteed to at least be happy with those.

My mom has been eating this place for years, back to when it was in its old location, but it was my first time visiting so I was eager to try. Unfortunately I found it to be mediocre at best. I will say that the fried zucchini was excellent, probably the best I've had, but the sandwich I had and the other items that my family ordered were pretty meh.

My navigation suggested Uncle Pete's as a high probability match for me, so we gave it a shot. We were dining as a group of 2 adults and 2 teenagers and everyone of us was able to find something from the menu to order. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, though could have been a little quicker and attentive. The ambience was a definite surprise!

Good for eating inside but don't get carry out. I ordered 2 bowls of soup and they were each smaller than a teacup. $14 for the two plus tip. If you order a sandwich, o chips included - only for dine in.

This place is fantastic! The decor makes you feel like you were warped back in time into some castle. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. We started out with the hot pepper cheese balls and they were really good. The cheese inside literally just melted as you bite into it. You get your choice of dipping sauce with the appetizer. For my entree I ordered the open faced turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy. I was really pleased with my meal. The portion was huge and the taste was fabulous. We will definitely be back!

Been here several times and never disappointed!!My favorite dishes are... smoked wings for an appetizer! The ribs are so tender and delicious!! The service is always top notch and the inside has a lot of seats and great bar area! Don't miss this gem!!!

Had the club sandwich, was a bit greasy and underwhelming. Stuffed banana peppers were quite good though

Food is very inconsiderate. Good one time and lousy the next.Three of us left full plates and the waitress didn't bother to ask if something was wrong. Unfortunate because who wants to go for a maybe good meal.

Pleasant atmosphere. The service is good. They have a lot of very good tasting food, a wide variety, and varying prices.

Everything I've tried from here has absolutely no flavor. I've tried a burger, fish, fried zucchini..... and nothing has any taste at all
