This is one of my favorite chains now. First time visiting this location, but stopped in at a Tropical Smoothie Cafe a couple of times. This East Main Street, Bexley location, is in the former Jeni's Ice cream spot and the cafe is a perfect fit for the space. Plenty of parking across the street and a traffic light with a pedestrian walk makes it so easy. There is also some street parking going west in front of the shop but the parking lot makes it so much easier.Inside is small with a few tables and seating areas, the register, menu, and a to-go order pick up station. You can order in or with the app and do a pick up.I had a coupon code so I ordered through the app. I decided on a Chia Banana Boost with Peanut Butter. It is an absolute repeat. I did have to wait a few minutes due to the lunch rush but when I walked in and provided my name for the pick up order, they pulled the order and started making it. I am really loving the Tropical Smoothies as a meal, or a treat.

I'm really impressed with Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Since seeing this east-casual joint moved into Bexley, I always assumed it was just another smoothies only type place, with loaded sugar options disguised as "heathy shake options" yada, yada, yada. Glad to find out I was wrong.You order at the counter and staff will bring your food to you. Customer service was great. I met the morning manager (owner?) when I a friend and I decided to meet for lunch. I had a few questions about spice level on their Jerk Chicken Wrap, and the general heat level of their chipotle mayo, which she gave her opinions which helped me narrow down my choices. I went with their Thai Chicken Wrap and a chocolate chip cookie - they're Ghirardelli. The wrap was lightly toasted enough to keep its form and the guts to not flop out when set down between bites. The peanut sauce was great, a little sweet, just enough to attract the tastebuds but not overpower the chicken. The chicken was great! Juicy chunks, not dry overcooked slices from yesterday's leftovers. I was pleasantly surprised with the Kale & Apple Slaw side. The kale is obviously messaged - tender and edible; liked the balance of julienned apple sticks. I'm not sure if the dressing is homemade, reminded me of Johnny Marzetti, which I'm good with, so either way it was a win for my likings. They have a great patio with umbrellas shading each table. Side note: Love their to-go pick up cubbies along one wall - makes it easy to grab and go. They have an app where each $1 equals one point; get to 100 points, and there's rewards. The staff said there's always special promos going on for double-points, perks, etc., so I downloaded and signed up since I'll be sure to stop by more often. Breakfast is served all day; I'll definitely give their BEC wrap a try, since work is a block away.

Excellent variety and fantastic customer service. My family begs to come here every time we drive by (which is often). Not just smoothies! They have wraps and salads, etc. Definitely stop by! This particular location is Black owned!

I come to this location often and the food and smoothies are great. However, there is an employee who works at this location with the nastiest attitude. She always has one AirPod in and got our order wrong last week, and had an attitude when we brought up that it was wrong. Her name is Kiana and I think she should either quit or be fired. She acts like she doesn't want to be there, so she probably doesn't, and shouldn't work there anymore. Today, the lobby was packed, and everyone was confused why she was acting like that. She was rolling her eyes if nobody grabbed there smoothie fast enough, and almost dropped ours, and had to try to catch it. All around pissy mood, 24/7, every shift. Get her out of there.

Been to this store numerous times. Todays visit was a bit frustrating. Not very busy. Watched her make my smoothie and when it was done she let it sit on the counter while she cleaned out her blender and made the next persons smoothie. All the while my smoothie is just sitting there. Easily could've handed it to me when it was done! Great customer service is taking care of the current customer before starting on the next customer. Also not a fan of being asked to leave a tip, when paying by card, before I get the service. The other times I've been here have been good
