Towpath Tavern

Good food with a friendly atmosphere. Obviously a locals favorite. It was very packed and the staff was friendly. They were able to keep up with the crowds very well.

Great little local dive. Service was top notch. Great menu options. Loaded fries were great, fish sandwich was meh.

We stopped to visit our favorite barbecue place which, sadly, had closed. However we made a real find with the historic Towpath Tavern. We recommend the walleye platter, and we are eager to try the prime rib. The service was excellent, and we enjoyed the historic pictures in the walls. We were fortunate to find a table as this place is local favorite. We'll be back!

I had the 14oz pork chop and my husband had the Lasagna. Both were amazing. We sat at the bar and Ciro the bartender, was super nice, friendly and helpful. Dinners came with sides and warm bread sticks. Large portions at easonable prices. Best pork chop I ever had! We will definitely be back!

Just passing through on our way to a week in Amish country and the Towpath Tavern was a hit. As you can see no photos of our meals, which is not like me, but everything was just that good that we didn't get pics. Guess we will have to go back next time we are in the area. Family run, scratch made and a full bar! We went in at lunchtime and the tavern was packed, locals stopping in at lunch, out of towners like myself, golf leagues passing through. It's a testament to the menu and great service. The menu was huge, specials and burgers out the wazoo! I ordered the perch sandwich with fresh cut fries, the bun was fresh baked and the fish was breaded to ordered...it was the length of my arm and was delicious. My husband went a little more local, tater tots and two sloppy joes. He loved them. So stop in, don't miss the exit.

What a perfect example of a small town tavern with friendly people and great service. Just moved to the area and it feels like the best go to bar/eatery that you can pop into and just relax with a beverage and good food. Prices are exceptionally well priced and low. Portions are large and again, service is on point and with a smile!

Just had the pork chops and it was the best I have ever had. True flavor was amazing. Also, it was thick's and juicy which is hard to get with a pork chop. Definitely will be back!

I travel for work and always looking for a place to take a customer. I have a customer that suggested this place and they were spot on! Anything you get here is good! I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner! I have had the burgers which are phenomenal, today I got grilled chicken and broccoli, wanted to eat a little healthy and they were delicious!

I got the broiled lake Erie walleye and wow it was one of the best I've had! The service was very good, fast and the food came out perfect. Highly recommend and will be going back.
