OH. MY. LORD. That is THE best pizza I've had in a LONG time, if not ever! Superb crust, flavorful sauce, lots of cheese, and yummy pepperoni. I am so sad I don't live close by. You guys are lucky to have this pizza in your neighborhood!

Not bad pizza but not my first option. A good option if you're trying to feed a lot of people for a reasonable price

This pizza is reminiscent of Dicarlo's pizza and, of course, Wallys pizza in Cambridge. Pieces are sold by the slice (6 cut), half tray or whole tray. The way this pizza is made is unique. First they make a large tray of dough and then add sauce. It's then put into the oven and cooked and when it comes out, toppings and cheese are added. Yes the cheese is uncooked but it melts gloriously when the pizza box is covered. If you don't like this style you can always ask them to put it back into the oven and make it in more of a traditional style but I'd recommend you make it the way that it is originally done before you do that. Now as for the pizza, it's small squares and the crust is a really beautifully crisp, golden brown and then the sauce is a nice, sweet sauce that tastes "bright" and fresh. The pepperoni is hearty, meaty and very tasty and the cheese is the most fresh tasting string style mozzarella you will find anywhere. The key ingredient on this pizza is the cheese and it's very high quality. How do you know that? Simple, the way that it melts is even and it's like that because the milk content in the cheese is high. If it's cheap cheese it will melt uneven and the pizza will be "waxy" and that is definitely not the case here. Now my recommendation is to get some of this pizza with pepperoni and extra cheese and taste it right outside of the store. If you don't like the cheese not being fully melted then try it when you get home, it will be by then. The supreme they offer is off the hook fantastic but I'd try that the second go round, or in a smaller quantity than the main pepperoni and cheese because the pepperoni and cheese is how this place makes its money and its the best you will find here. How does it compare to Wally's? It's about even depending upon who you ask. My guess is it's very close in just about every way to Wally's and that's a good thing because Wally's is awesome. I don't believe it's quite as good as DiCarlo's but that is because I like their crust being a bit more well done (and firm/browned) but I suppose I could always ask for well done crust. All in all this pizza is different than most anything out there and many people are going to be suspicious of how it is made. But quit wondering about whether you'll like it because of how different it is and go try it; my guess is you will, like me, become quite addicted to it!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Thin, crispy chewy crust, delicious pepperoni and fresh provolone cheese on a square cut pizza, available by the slice, 1/2 tray or full tray. It's perfect just the way it is! Those of us who used to frequent the original Wally's Pizza in Cambridge, Ohio, grew up on this exact style of pizza that stems from the famous DiCarlo's Old Fashion Pizza out of the mid-Ohio Valley. I grew up for my first 11 years of life eating DiCarlo's Pizza out of Wellsburg, W.V. (it was my dad's favorite), then Wally's Pizza from 11 years old to now. I still love me some Wally's Old Fashion Pizza as well! My husband and I were in town for our annual 25th Class Reunion last week and were told by a friend that we've got to run into Byesville to try this pizza. We had saw that they were running a special on their Facebook page, which I highly recommend you follow to keep up with their specials. They were advertising a full tray for $20! So on our way back home to Virginia, we stopped and ordered a full tray. Of course we couldn't wait to eat it; it smelled so fantastic! We sat in the parking lot enjoying a few slices, and continued to pick at it on the way home. I was suddenly thinking that we should have ordered 2 trays, because the entire point of getting a tray was so that we could freeze and reheat some at another time, but we were easily making a dent into this pizza, because it is THAT good!We did manage to get home with at least "some" pizza left, (much less than one might expect from only 2 people), which I took to work for my lunch for a couple of days. This pizza is amazing! It is definitely worth going into small town Byesville for! Although Wally's in Cambridge will still be my favorite, as far as competition goes, Tommy does pizza right! I do like that Tommy's has the thinner, crispier crust like I prefer. Wally's Pizza has been hit or miss lately, when I've stopped in, when I'm in town. They used to stick with the thinner crust as well, but sometimes you get thin, sometimes you get thick...you never know what you're going to get, depending on who's making it. Either way, they're both great! On the other hand, Tommy's didn't throw as much cold cheese on top, like Wally's did the night before for us, and is consistent in doing. I guess I could have requested 'extra cheese', but I get that for free at Wally's. Otherwise, I can definitely say, I'll be back! Love it! Awesome pizza! Keep up the good work guys!UPDATE: My husband and I were back and town and specifically drove 45 minutes out of our way from Marietta to Byesville, JUST to pick up a tray of Tommy's Pizza to take home with us home to Virginia. I like mine super thin and crispy, and Tommy's offers that. This is the second time we have stopped here and both times it's been consistently good. I will say that the 1st time, they didn't cheese it up as much as Wally's does, so this is a tray with pepperoni, mushroom and extra cheese. Requesting extra cheese remedied that, but we had to pay for it when Wally's is complimentary. Also, the woman at the window who had EVIL tattooed on her neck was not friendly at all. She wanted to charge us 50 cents each for a box lid, even though we had just spent $30 on pizza and had made a special trip from Marietta to Byesville, just to get their pizza to take home! She slammed the window in my face, and it was enough to make me not want to return. We aren't local. We were driving and eating on the road, and had to stop at a store for paper plates (I wasn't paying them for a lid out of principle). If I continue to get attitudes like that, I will not return no matter how great it is. But as far as the pizza, it is much better than Wally's and I never thought I'd say that. I have been a fan of Wally's for more than 30 years!

This is my favorite pizza in America! This pizza has great sauce, plenty of stringy melted cheese, and very tasty crust, that is a little thicker than Wally's. If they use crispy, cupped pepperoni, it would be absolutely perfect. I pick up pizza here whenever I am in the area.

Fantastic pizza, perfect for reheating in a toaster oven. You get quite a lot for your money too. Hopefully yelp approves the correct address, the Southgate parkway address on Yelp page takes you to an empty field in a trailer park with Google maps!!

Really impressed with Tommy's, they seemed to cook the toppings unlike Wallys. Loved the thin and crispy crust. No wonder they were so busy on a Sunday evening, great pizza and one of the few places in the area that was open. Will be back!
