We went to this place on a Sunday evening. We were greeted and seated immediately. The ambiance, including music, is mostly American rather Japanese. However it is pleasant. The service was timely and attentive. We ordered a few sushi and sashimi rolls and Filet Hibachi steak. All were well prepared and tasty. We enjoyed our visit.

This location is pretty good especially for all you can eat and this location serves alcohol. If you enjoy toko streetsboro you will enjoy kent.Best prices for all you can eat. Service is always good and you can order Togo

Bout to keep it so real to yall.... Credibility: my taste buds are far more superior to y'all's. Did I order an eel cucumber roll or an only cucumber roll???? (Should be eel but extremely skimp on the eel it was basically skin) chef played me. Next, maybe it's supposed to be eaten this way but it was straight shells in my "soft shell crab" roll and no meat to where it ended up being rice and paper roll after I took it out. I must admit our service was great and welcoming, but that sushi fasho half-a$$ed. Overall I would come again. But certainly not for the all u can eat sushi. Note: sushi was ~okay~ for living down the street. I read that the seats were hard on a review and I would like to certify that claim; my booty sore. Ion even do deez reviews... that's how u know I'm telling the truth. Fish was fresh but flavor of rolls were soulless. Ion care if I come an hour before closing on a Sunday, I want what I'm paying for. Toko in streetsboro and kintaro in Akron are better. If this review was hard to read, the other reviews are relatively accurate.I lowkey feel finessed.........

Quite possibly the most mediocre "Japanese" steak house I have ever been to. There aren't many similar options in the area and students like the "all you can eat". But there are lots of rules that add up to extra charges if you don't eat the way they want you to. And the food overall is bland and low quality in my opinion. The price is good, especially in a college town, but you get what you pay for. I definitely won't be going back.

Take out in Dec. Everything was good. Seaweed salad was the same taste as most places that offer it which I like. This comes on a tiny bit of shredded lettuce, I think slivers of cucumber is better but this is still good. I liked the Mercedes-Benz Roll better than the Empire State of Mind Roll but both good. You can order online.

The food was excellent as usual. I ordered some different things I've never had before and was pleased.Happy that despite the prevalence of seafood in Japanese, there is still options for people who want to be kosher : for example, sushi and sashimi that are only fish, or vegetarian sushi roll. And coconut chicken instead of only coconut shrimp. Both of the soup appear to be kosher although I did not ask about whether they use oyster sauce as a seasoning in either one: green onion, and mushroom chicken soup; traditional, miso soup.Service was prompt when I got my takeout order and the ambience as much improved since all the cutbacks during Covid . Food was ready on time.

If you are African American and or Black don't come here! The staff began speaking in Japanese when I approached and the 3 staff members that were there turned and looked at me and began to chuckle with there heads down. One of the gentleman began to sneeze and I politely said "bless you" and he responded with "are you picking up an order"? Completely disregarding me. Rude. Disrespectful. Unfriendly. I will never spend another dime here!

3 stars for good food, but overall Kintaro in Montrose is a much better choice. The "all-you-can-eat" sushi is not all you can eat. Almost every menu category has a limit as to the number of each you can have. This inexplicably includes the appetizers, which actually would be way cheaper for someone to fill up on miso soup than sashimi. There is an additional charge for any hibachi, no vegetable or salad options, and does not include any dessert. Ambiance isn't awesome, this building used to be a run-down Ponderosa and there's a lingering depressed aura in the booths and decor. There is a nice bar with good variety of affordably priced drinks. As all you can eat sushi places go, you're better off making the drive to Kintaro in Montrose. Significantly better selection of dishes, no category limits, and dessert is included. And it's the same price at both places.
