Tobacco International

TI has entirely made my experience at OSU amazing! When my academic advisor isn't there for me, as he has never answered a single one of my emails, TI always is! They have a great selection of alcohol and I highly recommend TI to all my OSU friends.

This was my favorite tobacco / beer / corner store on campus at OSU. The guys that used to own it were awesome, and did a great job of building the place up out of nothing. The prices are reasonable, and usually better than the UDF and other chain places with a huge beer selection. The new owners seem to be alright, and they made sure to point out to me the last time I was in there that they now deliver beer and cigarettes.The drink selection here is worthy of a separate note. All the same lipton and Sobe crap that you see everywhere else is here but look around the corner and you'll find another 6 coolers full of beverage heaven. Not too much of the over the top energy drinks, either. They also seem to have beefed up the smoking accessory section as well. Hookahs now seem to have their own little section, and are available for rental.

The ownership at Tobacco International is an amibitious lot, as you'll soon be able to tell after entering the cramped quarters of this 13th Ave. mega-convenience mart. Walk in to the back room, and you'll notice that the contents of the shelves here are constantly in flux, with new brands of energy drinks, beer, energy beers (I don't get it either), snacks, and assorted smokables constantly coming and going. Once you get past that, you'll notice one the handsomest assortments of every Vitamin Water product imaginable this side of Lane Avenue, which is always a clutch find when hungover and wandering to wherever you need to be on campus or off. The walk-in beer cooler has an impressive assortment of cases in many different sizes, which is a much-welcome upgrade over the poorly stocked cooler and the UDF a block away. This is the only place I know of that always has 30 packs of PBR in stock, that's for sure. Tobacco International also has an interesting selection of hookahs and hookah-related accessories, which may or may not come in handy at 12:30 AM on a Wednesday night when you're in need of provisions for an impromptu beer pong session. Good to know it's there, at least. One thing about TI that is usually a bummer is the parking situation, which consists of a public, meter-operated lot that's almost always a complete mess. It's not exactly their fault, but driving here is generally a hit-or-miss affair. Still, this is one of the best places to pick up beer and mixers for a last minute gathering, and the deliver too, which is more than worthy of my glowing endorsement.

these guys are rad. anywhere in their service area you can get a pack of cigarettes or a case of beer delivered... and a whole lot more!

Don't get their delivery without insuring they get directions before getting off the phone. Their delivery guy didn't know how to get to my house, which is actually on a known street and very easy to find. He decided to just end his shift and not deliver my purchase. I had to hassle them to get my refund.

been there once or twice its too cramped for me and they were out of the beer i wanted + there selection is not that great. the guy on the counter was going off on somebody on the phone ,helped me after he was done hey thanks for the customer service.
