I went golfing with my husband for the first time in 20 years. Loved the course and the club house atmosphere!! I highly recommend Timberview to everyone!

I enjoyed playing this golf course although it was somewhat easier than a lot of the other courses I play. With that being said, the tee shot on the first hole is very intimidating and there are a couple of longer par 3s. I really like the layout of the course and enjoyed most of the holes immensely. The price is reasonable but the course is also not kept up that well. A lot of the cart paths are not very nice and the greens could be a lot nicer. I'll probably be back to play simply because I like the layout of the course and the price is very reasonable. If you're a player that enjoys a pristine golf course and this one is not for you.

I really hope they will use this as constructive criticism. We can walk to this place, so we are rooting for them. The first time we were here, things were great. We were checked in with often, the drinks were good, and the wings were amazing. We told people in the area the wings were the best in town. A few weeks later we went back. I know the cook quit. I understand people are doing the best they can but tonight the wings were inedible. We paid for them and did not eat them. There was really no one else besides us in the place and no one checked in with us. We paid for the wings and did not mention how we ate none of them, so maybe we should have, but they were awful. Squishy and undercooked. I took one bite and was done. They also only let you play country music on touch tunes. I wasn't trying to play anything explicit but it wouldn't allow me to play any artist who wasn't in the country realm and I feel that is extremely limited. I don't just want a country vibe at a golf course restaurant.

Many of my buddies call this course timbersh*t, I see why now. This is the worst golf course I've ever bared witness to and I will not be returning ever again. Club house looks like it was build in the 19th century and there isn't even a clear fairway on any of the holes. This course is so horrendous it's genuinely silly.

Course is in awful condition. Clearly stopped putting maintenance on it. Golf carts are the slowest carts known to man. Several tee shots are in danger from other tee shots. Would not play here again. Only reason I chose this course was because it was the only course with a morning tee time - which now I understand why.

Honestly the biggest waste of 20 dollars. Course was disgustingly beat. Down to the tee boxes being a sand box. Fairways were practically the rough and greens were not cut. Never returning to this course. Took 2.5 hours just to play 9 holes trying to search around for your ball. What a joke

This is my first time writing a negative review on a golf course but WOW. What a third world golf course. It probably hasn't been mowed this season, mud everywhere. Not even cart paths only. Everyone playing is just ruining the course. Our tee time is 11:07, we get here at 10:30 and don't tee off until 11:40. When we make the turn (at 255) there are people on the tee because they just sold a back nine tee time. (No point in making a tee time) They accept all money and turn away none trying to make as much money during the Coronavirus surge. During the wait for the back nine we go into the clubhouse. They have 0 social distancing practices being observed as it's basically an open bar. People sitting at the bar very close to each other. But not even that, someone sitting down offers to buy beer for our group. We buy a couple hot dogs as well then the charge us for the beer and hotdogs! The guy at the bar is obviously a regular and says "charge them for them for the beer". They obviously don't care about any Coronavirus laws as they encourage multiple people per cart to save money. Once again, third world golf course. Play anywhere else.

AWFUL!!! Had a tee time booked for 3 at 11:50 got there and had no carts available. We had to wait 55 mins to get out first carT but decided to just lug our bags in the cart and walk the course instead of waiting on a 2nd. When we got on 1 there was a backup which should of never happened since we had to wait for carts. We played 1 hole and turned around and demanded a refund. The owners could not care less they said they couldn't help they were busy, uh don't over book then!? One of the drunk owners decided to have people go off on the back 9 if they wanted to walk which just cause later chaos later in the day. They were also not following Covid guidelines. The bar was cramped full of people and quite honestly disgusting. We had to wipe down our own cart which was embarrassing. Definitely will not be back and quite honestly I'm shocked this place is still in business.

OK, I read some of the reviews from a couple years ago. Well things have changed - for the better. They did a lot of work on the greens. I play Timberview a lot. I always enjoy playing there. Some challenging holes, some fairly easy. I've never had "bad service" there. Plus , they do a lot for vets.

The sign on the pro shop door at Timeberview Golf Club says, "play at your own risk". Had I read the sign before paying for a round of golf, I would have turned and walked away. I'm not kidding. The sign on the door does say this, and that sign is the best example of truth in advertising that I've seen in my ummm errrr 50+ years on earth. No price is low enough for me to return to the nigh mare they call Timberview Golf Club. The course is in horrible shape. The greens are burned, brown, bald, patchy, and have been ridden hard and put away wet. The roughs are hard pan. The fairways are like low cut rough with more weeds than grass. They are narrow because they have not been properly cared for, and are mostly overgrown by the roughs. The place stinks...LITERALLY! There is a lot of water on this course. Unfortunately, the ponds are like cesspools, and the stream are the contributories. The stench is enough to make a person gag as they drive along the cart path from one hole to the next. The cart paths are paved with dirt, rocks, and pot holes. They traverse decrepit bridges that look unable to support the weight of a golf cart and its riders. Riding in the cart while on the path was a teeth rattling, body jarring experience that I wouldn't wish on an enemy.I would sign up to get my wisdom teeth extracted before I would play another round of golf at Timberview Golf Club in Marysville, Ohio.
