We first visited this location years ago and fell in love. Since then they have expanded their space with lots of beautiful outside seating. They have so many delicious wines but they really excel in reds. We always come home with multiple bottles when we visit. Highly recommend stopping by while in the area or making a special visit.

If you haven't been out to Three Oaks Vineyard, you need to go!!!! This is a fantastic place to end the week and sip some wine and relax. The folks at the Vineyard have really out done themselves. The wine was great and the hospitality was spot on! Ask for Pete to give you a tour of the place, he can tell you everything you need to know. We went on a Friday evening and we were not disappointed, yelp reviews from the past were a great help in me deciding to exploring this place. Thanks!Pete one of the owners recommended coming on Saturday for food truck and live music!!! Will definitely be back on a Saturday!

Oh boy - where to begin! We were given a recommendation to try this place from a local friend. We love wineries and this one was probably one of the most unique ones we've visited. It looks like a simple home as you pull up and you would never guess what would be waiting for you as you drive down the lane to the back of the property. Pro tip: drive all the way back to the secondary parking. You get to park near the actual grapes in the vineyard, you get to see the beautiful villa building, you get to walk over the bridge, through the forrest, to get to the tasting area. Luckily the primary parking area was full or we would never have known! The staff of super friendly and if you ask Pete nicely he may even take you on a nice private tour of the vineyard! The wine is wonderful and has a ton of variety. The cheese board was great as well! Brava!

Heres my advice...sample wines at your own risk. Im sorry, I just cant recommend this winery. We tried 3 different wines and each wine tasted like a homemade local wine...bad! The wines had a bitter acidic aftertaste. I would describe their wine as "Flinty" very high in acidic and metallic. The atmosphere is like a cheesy 90's decor which goes with the quality of wine.Maybe we were disappointed because we had just departed from an amazing vineyard -Otter Creek Vineyard.I really love to support small local businesses but I just cant recommend this one!

When we drove 3 hours to get here, and we pulled up to someone's house, I thought for real. My original expression changed quickly. The winery is in the basement. It's small, quaint and cute. I tried 5 dry wines and they were all fantastic. The LaCrescent and Marquette were my favorite. The wines were all good.Pete the owner offered a tour of the place. We took him up on his offer. The grounds are amazing. The handmade bridge that Pete had build in the woods is absolutely incredible. They have an event center in the woods. This you will miss and think it's only a winery in the woods. Really loved this place. Pete said he purchased the property in the 1980's with intention of using it for off road racing. His wife said this would make a nice vineyard. They started to grow grapes but after realizing there was not much money in selling the grapes for all of the hard work that goes into that. That's when they decide to open a winery. They have been opened for 7 years. He said "A Happy Wife a Happy Life " well said..Will visit again and recommend anyone else to do the same. The owners were the best.

If I could give 10 stars I would! This place is absolutely phenomenal and 100% worth the drive out to Granville. They go above and beyond in hospitality as the owners of this vineyard operate right outside their home! The patio is their backyard. The wines are all made locally here in Ohio. We had one of the sweet whites and it was so delicious. They offer small bites like a fruit and cheese platter and they typically have food trucks on site as well. There was live music playing and the view was just spectacular. They even have a cute pup named Bodie who roams freely and visits each table. I can't wait until next year when they open back up as they are closed for the season. So many yummy wines to try. Wonderful wonderful experience!!

Full disclosure: I'm a musician and have performed at 3 Oaks - which is a QUITE ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE! Now that THAT'S out of the way... I've been to 3 Oaks several times as a "normal patron" and I've gotta say, I LOVE IT! I've noticed reviews commenting on a "backyard atmosphere" that's EXACTLY what I LOVE about it! This is not your pretentious wine-snob establishment! It's a wonderful, relaxing place where people meet old friends and make new friends! I'm not a wine connoisseur, but I do know what I like in a wine... and this is IT! Thanks, Pete and Diana for this wonderful place!

Two stars. One star is for the Happy Dog Pizza food truck (great pizza & smoked wings). The second star is for the beauty of the actual vineyard and setting. Our evening at Three Oaks Vineyard was extremely disappointing, to say the least. This was our first time visiting, and we were so looking forward to our favorite meal.....pizza and wine. Drove almost an hour. Well, we were able to eat pizza, but not enjoy any of the wine. In fact we did not even have water with our meal. We flagged down a gentleman and asked, but he was distracted and looking for someone he "lost". We never saw the waters. The staff members were walking around everywhere, with papers to order wine in hand... But no service was happening. It was like they were all confused or lost?! We thought we were in Zombieland, or the twilight zone. How hard is it to read, walk and pour?We just did not understand how the service could be so lackluster. This place was not serving food, all they had to worry about was pouring wine. When I did order some wine tastings (after waiting 20 minutes) the server told me it would be too long to wait for five tastings, but I could have three pours. Hmmmmm?! Well, we ate our entire meal with no wine, no water, no service... We ended up leaving. We did notice servers tending to some tables around us, who appeared to be repeat patrons, or friends. To my knowledge this happens every Saturday, the food truck, live music, etc. So to say that they were busy, and "backlogged", as our server stated, does not make any sense.Luckily, the little town of Granville was not far at all. We were able to sit on a lovely patio at the Granville Inn, and enjoy a wonderful bottle of wine, with a relaxing atmosphere... I was feeling frustrated and anxious from our trip to Three Oaks. We actually saw a couple in Granville, that we had seen at the winery... We met and talked with them, they had left as well, same experience. The place is very beautiful and we were looking forward to relaxing with wine, pizza, and live music...Disappointed is an understatement. We will not make the drive again.

What a great hidden gem! We felt right at home on the patio with the friendly Three Oaks team. The property is really beautiful, and the owners clearly take a lot of pride in what they've built over the years. I encourage everyone to take a walk through the vineyard. All wines were reasonably priced. The Marquette was our favorite red, but we definitely plan to return and do a flight of dry whites.
