Edited in response to business comment:I purchased my home on June 11th and in that timeframe you being the HOA management company have posted 3 months worth of payments and addt'l $185 in past due/legal fees to an account in my name against my home! Never at any point in the past 3 months have you returned my calls. Never at any point in the past 3 months have you sent me an invoice/email or correspondence. I have been the homeowner for 3 months. You are the paid management company, paid for what I ask? Are you not responsible for maintaining accurate homeowner records? It's bizarre that you don't feel any of this is your fault. I agree title company should have contacted you when I purchased(my gut tells me they did and you ignored them also). Regardless I made you aware in June that I was purchasing the property, I simple call back to me is all it would have taken.Even when I called again and was able to speak with a person from your company in August she never mentioned setting up online billing. Nor did she or anyone ever mention you were contacting Title Company to collect those past due amounts. I'm not sure why it's necessary for you to continue saying it but it's completely false. You are acting as if I was impulsive but you did NOTHING for 3 months except add late charges to an account that I knew nothing about! Original review:I began calling this HOA "management" company in June right before closing on our home as instructed by my lender. I was never able to reach live person but their voicemail had instructions to leave my contact info including email. I did as instructed and waited for someone to call me back with instructions on how to proceed.I didn't hear anything back until end of August when I received a collection letter from HOA attorney saying I was delinquent for $700 plus atty fees!!I then began calling again trying to figure out how this is possible and how to fix it. I not only called The Twenty Seven Group but also the attorney that sent me a letter, in my name just as I left on that voicemail. Every time I called I would reach someone that took down my name/number but could never assist or give information. Finally, after calling for a few weeks I was able to get lady to explain how billing was done and website so I could set up account. She told me your email address that I needed to send request to for account access. At this point it is September 9th!!I don't feel that I'm responsible for the now $800 bill which includes over $185 in their late fees but they absolutely refused to even call and speak with me about it! I don't recommend using this company for HOA and if you are looking at a home that they are HOA I would RUN!!

Edited to Respond to Erin: That's great, Erin. Actually, part of the problem stems from me contacting your office requesting if I COULD work with and speak with anyone else! Lisa said I'd have to work with our community president. Smooth operation over there. Seems like there is a major lack of internal communication and collaboration within the Twenty Seven Group team. How about instead of defending your organization against all of the negative reviews, you actually work on solving problems and improving your business practices. Original Review: Terrible communication from our property manager, Lisa W. More than a week went by after initial correspondence and being told to wait while she looked into it. Not so much as a follow up to let me know they were still reviewing anything. If you get Lisa W., I highly suggest you request a different PM to handle your community needs. If Lisa W. is a good representation of the level of service Twenty Seven Group provides, I would suggest everyone look for a different organization. I'm not sure what we pay them to do if they cannot even follow up on email correspondence when community members are trying to follow the rules and proper procedures.

Updating in response to Erin:Appreciate your response greatly. I'm not confused and am choosing to share factual representations of my dealings with your business for the remainder of the public to be informed. Regarding the public and rapid spreading of misinformation I would love to know more, please do share. Want to reiterate for anyone reading, if you're looking to buy or rent and you see the twenty seven group listed as the property management company, keep looking.

I've never wanted to give an organization 0 stars more than with The Twenty Seven Group. Since they took over, there has been almost zero communication to the owners, or at least to us. I reached out back in April to get the color of the fence because they replaced a couple of rotted boards and didn't bother to paint them or provide us with the paint color. We were told to have it color matched (so we were supposed to take off another board and bring it into a hardware store?). I also informed them that we were planning to sell our condo and wanted to make sure there wasn't anything that was needed from us. Then we put our house up for sale. Our first offer pulled out of the contract because the inspection showed damage to our roof and water in the attic. I called the office that day around 3:45p and got zero response from Tricia, Suzy, or the receptionist. I decided to drive to the office since their phone message says they are open until 5. Arrived at 4:02pm and the office lights were off, locked up, and not a car in sight. I tried calling several other times that night to reach emergency maintenance (because we had a leak and were expecting rain that week after months of drought conditions). I finally obtained contact information for Erin and left her a voicemail expressing my frustration and was told my community manager would reach out and this was not an emergency. I did FINALLY hear from Tricia the next day and was told that there was already a claim for the roof. Knowing that we were selling, that would have been great information, but apparently they felt that the owners/sellers have no need to know what's going on in their own units. We've received absolutely zero communication or even empathy/understanding at this frustrating situation where we can't sell our unit because of conditions completely outside of our control. I'm to the point of calling in a favor to a roofer and having it fixed myself in a timely manner and sending them the bill, just so I can be done with this unprofessional "business". Over a week ago, I asked for information about the Board of Directors, who was on the board, when the next meeting was, etc. etc. and received ZERO RESPONSE (no surprise). That same email also asked for follow up on a work order we put in over 2 weeks ago that we were told was "an easy fix that would be taken care of immediately".... which still isn't done as far as I know. We reached out early yesterday asking for clarity on a couple policies that a potential buyer asked. I even called today and still haven't received a response to that email. There is no sense of urgency. Overall, I would never recommend this company to anyone and feel bad even selling the property and making them someone else's problem. Not a single person there answers the phone, they're never in the office, they don't return calls, they don't return emails, and there is zero accountability from the president or community manager. They won't even try to have a productive conversation with the residents so that we can all work together the way it's supposed to be. RUN!!!

They specialize in pond neglect and not returning calls. If you can, avoid them at all costs. We've been "with" them under a year and our BEAUTIFUL pond photo is attached. This is not a serious business run by very uninterested people. -The Oaks at Highland Lakes

I have reached out more than a dozen times in 2 months, phone calls to my property manager with voicemails left, emails and called the office on 5 occasions and spoke to the receptionist to transfer me to my property manager and have yet to ever get in touch with Jordan or get a return phone call or email. I am so confused why I can't get in touch with him.

This place is a group of unprofessional people who have no idea of what they are doing. They lie for one another to cover mistakes made by blaming it on software issues. You cannot reach who you need to speak with and their response to everything is they were told to do it by the HOA board members. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES FOR ANYTHING!!!

Probably good at collecting dues each month but outside of that, my experience has been awful. At one point i requested a document and was sent a document for a completely different complex not even located in the correct city! I've been dealing with a structural problem for three months. They sent out a contractor to review the issue and then waited another four weeks before sending out requests for additional quotes. Twelve weeks and counting, no contractor has been engaged and I still have an exposed wall. Several unanswered emails, calls to others within the group left unanswered. It appears that there is no one to back up employees when out of the office, which extended the problem almost three extra weeks. There is clearly a lack of competency within this group.

Terrible communication. Will not return phone calls. Sends violation notice and fees in same envelope with no prior notification. Applies payments to fees instead of HOA dues and then charges late penalties. 100% no communication to the homeowners. Terrible company.
