I stopped by here for the first time today to explore the 9.2 acre topiary park, and it was so cute even in the winter!Parking: parallel parking around the park - you do have to pay to parkTrees: impressive! I did think these would be scattered all over the park & fun to find, but they're all centrally located and based off of a painting from Paris. It was fun to walk around & guess what each of the trees were shaped into. The pond was beautiful with the snow and ice! This isn't a place I would drive super far and out of my way to enjoy, but it's nice for a short stroll.

This was a cute little park to stroll around. The greenery there was amazing. They made trees and scrubs look exactly like Georges Seurat's "Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte". There's a display with the painting there, so it was cool to compare it to the real thing. Parking can be a hit or miss around the area.

What a beautiful park! We enjoyed our walk through this park. A great place for photo ops, outdoor games, a stroll or a relaxing picnic. The landscaping detail and maintenance here is phenomenal! Researched and apparently this park is a recreation of a painting a scene made by artist Georges Seurat. Really cool.

Definitely one of a kind and I am very impressed with the skill it takes to create and maintain such a park. There a bronze metal plaque that explains the history of this park and states it was meant to replicate a painting. After I looked at the painting I realized this park does look like a real life version of it. The upkeep at the time was good. There was no overflowing trash. The only thing is I'm not sure I went at the wrong time of day, it was around 3:30 on a weekday but it was really noisy. You had high school kids screaming and laughing since they just got out of school and homeless people that would follow and badger you for money. I get Columbus is a city and we have all types of people, but based on this experience I wouldn't come here to have a relaxed meditation experience. If someone likes art, being outside and seeing something unique I highly recommend this park!

Unpopular opinion time. I was so disappointed by this park. It is supposed to be an urban gem, but I thought it reflected really poorly on Columbus Rec and Parks. The trash cans were overflowing with trash, the grass looked like it had not been cut in weeks and the whole park just looked neglected. There were belligerent drunk people hanging out on park benches and I could not imagine walking through here at night. I would be embarrassed to bring visitors from out of town to see this.

I love the craftsmanship here but besides that, the park desperately needs some tlc. Also, I saw a few homeless people hanging around so this place is only good for going during the daytime. At night, it might be kind of sketchy.

One of my favorite parks! It is a really nice topiary garden, pond, and park. The park is located on East Town Street in the downtown Columbus area at 480 E. Town St, close to the Columbus Public Library, and Grant Hospital. This is the historic site of the old deaf school & park that is now a tranquil public garden. It is great for dog and people walks, picnics, and a great place just to relax. Some of the topiary displays have seen some better days but it is a great park.
