Had a private room reserved. Met with family and shared a great meal and great conversations! The staff was on par with anything we needed. Everything was wonderful! Looking forward to going back when we're in the area again!

Met friends here for dinner - they had been here before with positive reviews. I ordered the flat iron steak - that night's special was béarnaise sauce and I thought that would be a great combo. For my sides I got fries and a Cesare salad. The salad was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. The wait staff then came out to tell me that the sauce was being taken off the menu as it had curdled, so I would just be getting the plain steak. I wasn't thrilled by that but just went ahead with it. The fries are crisp and a bit peppery, which normally I wouldn't mind. But my steak was also peppery, and it just got too overwhelming for me. I left over half of it on my plate, I just couldn't eat it. Had the sauce been on it I probably would have been fine, but without it was an issue. My friends and I sat and chatted for a while after dinner (our reservations were at 7pm) and a few minutes after 9pm they started turning off the lights so we had to get out of there which was kind of a put off. Seems pretty early to close on a Saturday. Overall it wasn't a terrible dinner but I won't be eager to go back.

Not the same. No basket stuffed with delicious garlic toast. No relishes. Salad not included with meal. Minimal menu selections. Drinks were not good this night. Expensive, especially for what is served.Still great ambiance. Service was good. We have been enjoying this restaurant for years, but we will not be returning.

They started us off with a nice basket of bread and garlic toast that came along with our drinks. For drinks, the cocktail menu looked delicious but we both went for craft beers. The craft beer selection wasn't large but what was available was unique and tasty. We started with the stuffed mushrooms app which came out quickly. Note: we got so much food with our entree we didn't need an app, but... The mushrooms were large, firm, fresh, and mild in flavor. The stuffing was flavorful and the cheese... thick and gooey. We also got a bowl of French onion soup. The soup was definitely a stand out. While the broth had a rich beefy flavor, it didn't overpower the nice flavor of the onions. Pair this with the dense piece of French bread, which didn't got soggy, and ample melted cheese and yes, a stand out dish. Most if not all the entrees come with a quaint relish tray of potato salad, pea salad, and carrot salad. Don't skip the carrots!! Carrots are my least favorite, but this stuff is delicious. Save a few bites for the end of the meal. It's slightly sweet and a nice palate cleanser. We also received a side salad of crisp and fresh greens with a delicious blue cheese dressing. I ordered the shrimp entree and choose the baked, seafood stuffing version with a side of grilled asparagus. The shrimp were huge and very fresh. The stuffing has to be homemade and was cooked perfectly with the shrimp. My husband got an off menu special, 10 oz, medium, Wagyu sirloin and baked potato. The Wagyu was silky, juicy, and melted in your mouth. It was cooked to a perfect medium.

Well we came up to upper Sandusky to grab a couple things. Stopped at the Steer Barn to eat , we like to try different restaurants . If you want a mediocre meal for $$$$$$ come on to the steer barn. $27 bucks for what supposed to been a 10 oz steak! Luke warm hard bake potato. Surprise that the broccoli and Alfredo noodles were good not hot but Luke warm as well! Sweet tea I didn't care for didn't even finish the glass. My beautiful wife got the shrimp she said it was good but her fry's were cold and broccoli was like warm. The desserts were good I had the cheesecake wife had the custard thing I can't say lol. They was tasty ! The waitress was awesome and helpful she was a sweetheart! But if you want a way overpriced meal go here for what you can get at Dennys cheaper! Your eating in a barn that it looked ok to a point. Enter look wonderful then the dining room as old carpet. It would been better with hardwood foods to go with the barn theme. Bar looked good to what I seen as well. For only 2 of us we got two dinners and dessert almost $90 couple of pennies away!!

Not a great as before Covid.Had ordered French Onion Soup, Delicious. Typical sometimes a server brought out entree too soon.When he brought it back the baked potato had cooled.One mention: Julie Niederkohra true restaurant professional.Gracious, Generous and completely In Charge" made all the difference to this weary traveler.

Wife and myself went for the second time, will be are last. Food was great first time. Not so much the second visit. Wife ordered filet rare, it was severed medium. I brought it up to what I believe to be a manager. Wife was asked if she wanted to send back. Now she said no because it took a very long time to be served and to receive out food and she just didn't want to wait along time again. The manager seen it was a filet and told my wife "well it's a filet it's thicker that's why" ok don't blame what we order. Then she offered her free dessert which in fact wasn't free we got charged for it. so we paid over $50 for a steak that was cooked improperly to make up for it was for dessert which we were told would be free and we were charged at this time I was aggravated because the waitress had been gone with my credit card for more than 10 minutes I wanted my card I wanted to leave worst experience that in a very long timeAlso to be aware not even close to being busy

Wow! I was not sure what to expect! Revamped menu. Everything tonight was on point even just the side salad. Relishes made it back on the appetizer menu and what a steal at $6. Go!!!!! I don't know what you are doing, but it's all excellent!!!! We will be going back for sure!!!!! My husband's steak was a perfect medium and so delish. My scallops could not have been better!!!
