Amazing service! Nice atmosphere and food tasted great. We enjoyed the cauliflower steak. The kids liked their appetizer but didn't like the mac and cheese. We parked in the parking lot nearby and walked around downtown after.

After moving to the area about a year ago, it's been really hard to find good food. After my second time here I think this restaurant is the best around the area. Our server Ciera did a great job explaining everything and recommended some great food options off of the menu. She was amazing As a certified foodie I am picky about my food and have not found a go to restaurant that satisfies my food cravings. Now after a year I can say that this is the place that everyone needs to go and try. Amazing food and staff!

Decent restaurant. Meat candy was a sure hit. Steak was better than average I'd go back.

Yum! Ashland is half way between Columbus and Cleveland, so we've chosen it as a meet up spot. We ended up at South Street because the other place we planned to meet was closed on Sundays. We wandered over to here because you can smell the smoker from down the street, and our noses did not lead us wrong! It's kind of a cool industrial space inside, and was pleasantly busy on a Sunday at lunch time. The staff were really friendly and service was quick. For apps, we had a round of the cheese curds. They were really good. First time I've had square shaped ones, but they were kind of like a few of the oblong curds compressed together, and came with a chipotle ranch for dipping! For lunch, I had the smoked chicken salad. The chicken was really good, with an Alabama white sauce, and there were plenty of fresh veggies. But the standout was my friend's Baja Mahi bowl. It was a great size, fish looked and smelled great! He enjoyed it so much that he ordered a second one to go for lunch the next day!Since I like to see my friends, and the food was great, we will for sure be back!

The first time I ended up at South Street Grille it was by accident. The brewery I intended on visiting was closed so I went to South Street Grille as a second choice. I ended up loving my meal. So I really wanted to get back. For my second visit I ordered the same meal of Baja Bowl which is a mahi mahi dish. It was very good the second time but honestly wasn't as jaw dropping the second time around. However my friends ordered basically every dessert on the menu and I got to sample nearly all of them. They were all fantastic. The best was the peanut butter ice cream pie. Definitely worth the drive from Columbus.

Been here a few times, and not sure why I haven't taken the time to review especially since this is a great place.Very good variety menu. Great service. I have never had anything I haven't liked.Mother's Day weekend we were able to get right into the bar area. The general restaurant area did have a wait and that was after only opening 30 minutes. We had taco balls for an appetizer. They have a fantastic hazy IPA. One of the best I've ever had in a multi state area. My wife had a mimosa. For entrées she chose an Asian chicken salad. I had a mushroom and Swiss burger. Hand pressed that was very tasty. For dessert pecan praline ice cream pie. WOW is that good. Fantastic place in Ashland. Be sure to give them a try.

Atmosphere is just so, warehouse setting and acoustics could be better.Very good portion on brisket, but had little smoked flavor. Kinda bland for being smoked. Tator tots yummy, but only 4 with cost. Not sure worth the money. Brown sugar cake, a must have for sure!

My wife and I stopped here on our way to Grandpa's Cheese Barn. Looked up places nearby and this place looked right up our alley. Unfortunately we were both pretty disappointed. We ordered the brisket eggrolls as an appetizer, which were recommended to us by our server. They were good, but they were like 80% cheese and 20% brisket. Not worth the price. For our lunch we both ordered burgers. We were pretty stoked as they have burger awards plastered all over the walls. I got the bacon cheeseburger and she got the bacon blue cheese burger. Her burger was supposed to have a bacon jam on it, however there was barely any on it. The blue cheese just overtook whatever amount of jam there was.My burger looked delicious, however there was serious technique issues with the patty. Burgers should be soft and tender. This was dense and way overworked which made it tough and stringy. If I were to take a guess, they use a mixer to mix up their ground beef and they left it on way too long. The texture was so bad I only ate about half of my burger and that's only because I was really hungry.Luckily the fries, homemade tater tots and various sauces we had were pretty good so we didn't leave starving. Neither of us finished our burgers.
