What a fantastic evening out. Learning to cook at the Recipe in Powell. We attended spanish cuisine cooking. The chefs were very helpful and their recipes were delicious. A nice atmosphere. (And we didn't have to do the dishes)

This was such a fun night with great culinary teachers and really good food. Way more casual (in a good way) than other cooking classes we've taken at Sur la table for example. This was about you having fun cooking 50% and you enjoying the food 50% and a dinner. Wine flowed nicely, excellent experience. We will be back for personal fun again or a cool work event for my team.

A fantastic date night experience. Set up a cooking class, paired with a wine tasting and we were thoroughly impressed. The class was simple, in that each couple worked a station to prep one part of the meal. Chefs walked us through the steps and were there to assistant and share some tips and shortcuts you can use in your kitchen day-to-day. The wine selections seemed to pair well, though i'm more of a bourbon guy. Through the course of the dinner we had great interactions with other couples and it made for a fun evening. We plan to return for future menus and I highly recommend them.

My husband and I tried a cooking class at Easton and it was a miss. I wanted to give a class another chance and Savoir is close by. Upon arrival, we were greeted and offered to order drinks, relax and peruse the menu. The chef came out and spoke then we moved into the kitchen. Tasks were assigned and we cooked up a feast. We returned to our table to eat and the chefs delivered dessert. It was an informative yet enjoyable experience. I can't wait to go back and learn more!

We went for the first time for the Tour of Mexico cooking class. They have had to reduce their class size, so there were eight people signed up. They have a beautiful dining room in front where we were seated spaced apart, but still able to socialize and talk. All of the magic happened in the back kitchen. It was a perfect size for the group and they had set up several cooking stations. We all got to take a turn at making various parts of the meal and we turned out a feast in about two hours! My favorites were the shredded chicken tacos, fresh corn tortillas, and the delicious homemade ice cream. After the cooking was done, we all sat together (socially distanced) and enjoyed the fruits of our labor. We thoroughly enjoyed a lovely evening here.

I've now taken three classes at Savoir. I love cooking and it's a great social activity with friends and a way to meet new people. Don't go in expecting to leave an expert, but you'll probably pick up a couple of new tips. You also don't need any prerequisite skills. Think of it like a culinary sip-and paint. The entire group of 8-15 people work together to prep and cook the meal. Everyone has different tasks. At the end you share a meal and take home 5-6 new recipes. I highly recommend it, especially if you can get enough people for a private class. The regular calendar fills fast!

I attended the Big Green Egg (BGE) workshop, where we prepared seafood on the Big Green Egg, and it was really awesome! I know my way around the BGE pretty well, a stick burner smoker is my comfort zone, but sides and deserts, well not so much. The menu was Basil Pesto Crusted Grilled Scallops with Fresh Corn Salsa, Cedar Plank Jumbo Shrimp with Shallot-Chive Compound Butter, Grilled Salmon with Orange-Ginger Sauce, Jasmine Rice and Strawberry Shortcake with Fresh Whipped Cream. I myself was tasked with making desert and for my first time making something like that, I was pretty darn happy! The staff was helpful, they showed you how to do everything, and the people in the class that knew how to cook were helpful as well. You leave with the recipes of everything you make, they serve beer and wine, and it was all around a really great time. I already booked the next BGE workshop, and I also look forward to bringing my daughter here for a kids cooking workshop!
