I have been a fan of all the Rail locations and this one is no exception. Their burgers are delicious and filling. I have tried a few items from their appetizer menu but everything sounds amazing. There are days that I would like to order all the appetizers as my meal. They have many indoor tables and a large bar for customers to sit at. I didn't notice if they had outdoor seating or not. The service was good when we were there. Our server was attentive.

Delicious, delicious experience at The Rail. The service was amazing, food was exactly what we ordered and also amazing, and the atmosphere was great. This is somewhere we'll be back.Tip: They were running the air conditioning a little hard in here. Mid-summer, I'd normally appreciate it if I'd just been outdoors or sweaty, but I wished I had a sweatshirt when I'd otherwise been pretty stationary right beforehand. Water is served with ice cubes which did not help my frigid situation.PROS:-Ridiculously friendly service. They were a bit dead when we came, so we had extra server attention, but she was super sweet, super attentive, and was great at making sure our water glasses stayed filled. -All of our food was SO good. The beef here is deliciously seasoned. It's perfectly cooked as ordered.-The french fries aren't anything to scoff at either. They're perfectly cooked, and I really love their ketchup and their regular ranch. I'm not sure what ranch they use; it has a tang I've never tasted before, but it's REALLY good.-I will usually complain that most burger places seem to stack their burgers with too many toppings, making them too tall to comfortably eat. The Rail does not. They make it flavorful with a wider burger and amazing flavor without being hard to eat. -Portion sizes are impressive. No one at the table could finish out their meal, and everyone left absolutely stuffed. It was SO hard to put down the food and leave though. It was that good. -Tons of seating options. They have a lot of booths (higher up, but they have leg rails to rest your feet on that make them ridiculously comfortable) as well as bar seating and tables with armless chairs. They have outdoor and indoor seating both, and the restaurant was not playing any loud music that made it hard to talk.-Parking lot is gigantic. You will not find it difficult to find a place to park, and you'll be steps from the front door of The Rail - located in a nice outdoor strip mall. CONS:-Absolutely nothing.

I was pleasantly surprised walking into The Rail for the first time. 2 words come to mind. Clean and classy. The Rail gives off a trendy vibe. I am deaf so I can't talk about any music that might have been playing or the volume of several televisions that were on but I can talk about listening with my eyes. The Rail is a beautiful place, decorated with style. Our waitress Lilly, was outstanding. Even recommended a dish to someone in our group. She was more than helpful. Lilly never made us feel rushed and always had a smile to bring us. I appreciate that kind of service. That is how you make a worthy tip. Plus she genuinely looked like she enjoyed her job. Now let me tell you about my dinner. I ordered the crispy Brussels sprouts. It had a balsamic glaze and herbed Parmesan crumb topping. That was $9.00. I would have paid $6.00 for them. My entree was the Blue Bessie burger. I needed extra napkins for this beauty because I could not stop drooling over it!It's with sauteed mushrooms spinach, blue cheese, onions, and horseradish sauce. Talk about an amp up amazing burger! I will admit $17.50 for a burger is a bit much but this bad boy is well worth it!It's a MUST try at The Rail. I will definitely recommend The Rail in Grandview. Thanks guys and gals for making this place home.

Food and service were good. Open atmosphere and was larger in the inside than I imagined. Clean restaurant and bathrooms. First time visiting the rail! I was able to meet up with Mark and Baby K for lunch. I was impressed with the food and really impressed with the kids menu and portions.I had the Spicy Crispy Chicken sandwich with a Fried Chicken Breast, Housemade Slaw, Pickles and a Side of Hot Honey. I would have liked to have had it with a little more heat but it was good! I came on the side of Grandview Avenue into Grandview Crossing and it was like a maze to get back there. Just follow the signs and watch the road. Coming in off Dublin Road is easier but once Grandview crossing is built up it won't really matter.I can't wait to eat here again. So many delicious item on that menu to try.

Spacious outdoor patio. Tons of seats at the bar. Not sure what's in the Rail Mayo but it was a great spread. I had the grilled chicken club but no bread. I could have had a gluten free bun for a $2 up charge. Elected for the side salad over the fries. Nice portion on the salad that also had tomato, purple cabbage and cucumber. Bathrooms were very clean. BUT THEY DO NOT RECYLE. Shame on them as it cost them a star.

I have been to The Rail in Dublin before going to the one in Grandview meeting friends for Franklin County Recreation Hattie Larlam Agency. I had The Bootlegger BBQ Burger with Bacon on it, and had Sweet Potato Fries with Chipotle Mayo and Ketchup. The burger was just perfect with the bacon. The Chipotle Mayo was the perfect companion for Sweet Potato Fries along with the Ketchup. I had a Diet Coke to wash it down. The server Liz did a wonderful job in taking great care of my friend and I, along with another server for a total of 20 people. I love the ambiance of The Rail in Grandview like I did in Dublin despite it having a darker wooden feel. I will be going back to The Rail in Grandview with my friend again soon.

I'd been to the one in Dublin and liked my burger there, and had a chance to come here to meet up with Les R. Baby K and I liked the looks of the menu, and we all had a good experience here.Service was great. The place is airy and open and dark and woody all at the same time somehow. Comfy booths, and plenty of seating options. Menu is basically burgers and chicken sandwiches, but they also have salads and pizzas and loads of interesting sides. I got the hot garlic chicken sandwich. Felt a little bad about not having a burger at what is pretty much a burger place, but it sounded good, and turned out to be one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Not really spicy at all, maybe a 2-3 out of 10, but very flavorful. The chicken itself was tender and moist inside, crunchy outside, with a good bun and good toppings making a great whole. Got a salad as a side, very good, and healthier than the fries or onion rings I wanted (maybe sprouts next time.)K got a kid's pizza, came out square and cool looking. She liked it. For her side she chose (shockingly) a salad too, instead of fries. And hers was as big as mine, an adult size side instead of a smallish kid's side. She ate every bit of it, also shocking. Les got the spicy chicken sandwich, looking a lot like mine but with slightly different toppings, and liked it. And the parmesan truffle fries, which sound and look amazing but taste, well, fine, good-not-great. Baby K liked them, and I thought they could use a little more flavor, which makes sense.Prices were maybe a little high for the portion size, but the quality was great, service was great, we liked the atmosphere, and the entire experience was excellent.

I always have a fantastic time at the Dublin location, and a party of mine decided to check this place out. I was so happy with this place. My wife and I got the build your own burger, and we got it medium. My wife unfortunately got a well-done burger but didn't see the waiter enough to let him know. She said it was still delicious, but mine was cooked perfectly. We'll definitely be back soon. Amazing burgers!
