The Pub in Gahanna

An unexpected dive bar which carries an amazing array of great bourbons! Totally blown away by their bourbon list from elijah craig barrel, basil hayden, angels envy to blantons...just to mention a few of their awesome bourbons!And dayumm, they do a very generous pour!Had 4 generous pour high end bourbons plus a martini, large cocktail and craft beer for $58...that is super cheap in my book.The bar is divey but the place is friendly, 2 pool tables, darts, plus JT's pizza( incredible wings)inside the bar..and great jukebox box music.This was a great find for kicking back snd enjoying some very generous pours!

Dive-y. Lived here for years and did not even know that this place existed. Niece from Germany in town visiting with her boyfriend and we were all on a budget so we decided on this place because it was close and a bar. We had some beers and some bar food. Nothing spectacular but good bar food. Good beer prices.

Flew in to Columbus Thursday night and just barley made last call. The bartender Lexi was great. Flying back home today so we stopped for a quick drink before going to the airport. Stephanie is also great and full of fun energy. Great place to stop for a drink or 3 with friendly locals making if feel extremely safe.

A long time resident of Gahanna who has been eating "Newman" salads for almost 50 years, I was shocked after picking up what was supposed to be 2 full orders of salad for $24 only to find out they were half full! If you are going to charge $12 for the salad it should be loaded....lettuce isn't that expensive!

I was in town and wanted to find a bar to watch the World Series and this place was close to the airport. The bartender (forgot her name) was really nice and service was awesome. The patrons were talkative and friendly. They also had a pizza place in the back which was fantastic!

Finally a bar in Gahanna that carries Wild Ohio beers!! We frequent Gahanna bars (Coaches, Gatsbys & Jordans) and this is the first time our group has found it. A friend in our group is celiac and this gives her a beer option other than a cider. Congratulations to the Pub and we will be back this weekend for more. More bars need better gluten free options. Keep up the good work.

Went around 12am with my friends, all POC. The regulars had no problem making it known we were not welcome there. Between pool table hogging and straight up saying we would not be given a turn even if we put quarters down, and a different regular walking up to us and telling us point blank that the owner/bartenders are racist and do not want us playing rnb or hiphop music on the touch tunes - this place was extremely uncomfortable and had bad vibes. The bartender was seemingly drunk by the end of the night and severely over worked, completely ignoring some of my friends who arrived later. Also she just let the extremely drunk regulars physically climb all over the bar, and kept giving them drinks. If you want creepy old drunk white men to comment on your overpriced darts game this is the place.The owner apparently hates POC so much they refuse to have any rnb or hiphop songs on the Touch Tunes - which I didn't know you could even do. We checked because we wanted to put on some usher but there was like no songs. No modern music either. Just some trash country songs, one in particular stood out to me as a man repeatedly sang how his girl rocks a beer gut. Yes that is a real song that played through without getting skipped.My girlfriend was told "I'm not saying you guys aren't welcome here but it's usually just us after midnight so..." referring to herself and other regulars. Again these people approached us every time. The drinks were cheap, thats all I can say good about this place. I don't drink and my friends each only had 1 drink considering you couldn't flag the bartender down, so we were definitely not drunk nor rowdy. We quite literally kept to ourselves, out of the way, and these people approached us.We were also told "people in Gahanna are just not very welcoming of others...". Excuse me? We are very familiar with the Gahanna area, some of us work/live here. Gahanna is very diverse and has some really cool and NOT racist spots. They were very clearly trying to get us to leave.We came to watch the nuggets v wolves game, and play some darts and pool, but definitely wont be back. And will warn any POC to steer clear of this bar. May as well have a sign saying "Miserable Middle Aged White People Only" on the front if you hate young POC so much.

I love how something my husband and his friend started in 2008 the Columbus Bengals Nation is still going strong and building and getting Media attention now at the Pub
