The food is always delicious and cooked fresh whether you're dining in or taking out. My husband and I absolutely LOVED their thick mozzarella sticks and creamy/chunky spinach and artichoke dip. Service while dining in does take a little while. Servers are hard to get ahold of as well. The ambiance does give off more fancier than casual. The outside of the building is gorgeous. We had someone give us a tour of where the water wheel was and how things operated as far as the "Mill".

4 meals - all wrong. Four of us were there to celebrate and expected the quality from many years ago - been many years since have eaten there. Steaks were fatty and not cooked correctly. The medallions came out like beef tips in gravy. Baked potato came out on plate looking just like a potato - not sliced and nothing to put on the potato. None of us finished our meal. Won't be back.

We were in Tiffin, Ohio checking out Heidelberg University for my son and looking for a steak place. It's an old mill turned into a restaurant with beautiful old charm. There are narrow stairs so be careful walking. I loved all the different rooms and the outside was very beautiful and picturesque. A beautiful place. The was a wait so definitely make reservations but we only waited about a half an hour which wasn't too bad. We got the crake cake appetizer. Light, flakey, full of crab and the remoulade was very tasty. We each ordered the prime rib but they have 2 different kinds so I ordered the angus prime rib and my husband got the fire roasted prime rib. Neither one did not disappoint, both had great flavor but my husband's was over the top good. Great seasoning and melt in your mouth out of this world good. I had a baked potato which was good but my husband had their twice baked potato and he could not get enough of it. So I would totally order that for next time. The meals also come with a vegetable garnish. They had the best prime rib I've ever had and will definitely be back for it again!!

Their cooking is impressive.... it is impressive that one thin steak can be Medium, Medium Rare, and so Rare and purple that it looks like it was slaughtered only seconds prior all in the same steak. The drinks were so terrible I wouldn't go back there again if they were giving them away for free, and that was when they even brought you the right drink. They don't even have enough menus to seat everyone, and for the few menus they actually do have it is listed more expensive than what their website says. Bravo for accomplishing so many disasters in so many different facets.

Warm beer. Chewy pasta. Microwaved breadsticks. Bacon-less carbonara. Great spot. Horrible food.

Chef the day I was there did not get medium rare steaks right but they redid them ok. Nice hometown family place to eat. They were very busy with two graduations and prom guests and the front desk did a great job of calling back to confirm my reservations and we were seated on time. Worth giving them a second chance.

Beautiful location with rustic decor. The employees were nice. Our waitress was friendly and checked on us often. The food was ok. The quality could definitely be improved. I ordered one of the specials, fruit of the sea. The pasta was over-cooked, the clams were sandy, and pan-searing the scallops would've added some flavor. The spicy pasta sauce, muscles, and shrimp were good. The breads (rolls served to the table, bun, and garlic bread) were dried-out and tough. My husband ordered a steak tips that were cooked medium and flavored nicely, but most of the meat was tough and gristly.

Thanksgiving buffet. Packed house and I am trying to figure out why. The buffet was not well attended and dishes were empty. Other items were cold. Nothing was labeled. The restaurant setting is unique however I don't think anything has been updated, replaced, or repaired since it opened in the 70's. In my opinion. Pioneer Mill is a has been
