The Ohio State University at Newark

As a student, I find many of my teachers to be of top notch academic quality and have been largely impressed and happy. There have been one or two exceptions but I have been otherwise impressed. The campus is great, and the faculty and staff are dedicated and helpful. I have thus far been very satisfied with OSU Newark. Now time to drive 45 minutes to class... the only downside is if you live in Columbus! But having access to the building and ample parking is a huge pull. Beautiful art all around the campus, and near one of the biggest Native American mounds on the continent.

Writing this review based on the campus.. nothing to do with the Ohio State education quality.The campus is AMAZING. Very clean and tidy no matter where you go. If you hang out in the same spot for an hour, you're bound to see a janitor walk by a few times- they are working to ensure the campus bathrooms, hallways, etc. are clean at all times.The size is perfect for getting around quick to any building. There are several parking lots located around campus. Parking is typically an issue for students during busy hours; often students will find themselves parking on the opposite end to walk to a morning class (but "opposite side of campus" is not far of a walk, don't be fooled by the negative connotation of the remark). At the moment I am writing this review, there are 6 main student buildings and another is in the process of being built. The buildings are a mix of older and newer buildings- but nonetheless are well kept.Overall, a huge plus for the city of Newark. Beautiful and practical small campus away from the madness of Columbus.

Absolutely gorgeous campus, with an obelisk, a lake, many statutes, an incredible library, and a very pretty student center with some cool paintings. The professors care a lot about their teaching and are also great researchers. A real gem for central Ohio
