The Loft at Cumberland

Our party arrived at our appointed time and was told there was no reservation and that it was open seating. After clearing our own table we settled in, our drink orders were taken. We ordered 6 waters just to hold us over until we got our menu's'. After a half and hour we received 2 waters and no menus. Our server was busy taking care of a larger group and paid no attention to us even when we tried to flag her down. I was completely embarrassed as I was the one who suggested going there. After 45 minutes we got up and left. I was a member here 2 years ago and the food and service was awesome. Now you can't get me to come back.

I can no longer recommend this restaurant...ordered the blackened chicken Alfredo (had been very good in the past) but this time it was disgusting....it was NOT Alfredo at all....way too many spices to the point that I couldn't eat it. I asked the waitress if it was correct and was told yes. I ate a few bites and couldn't eat anymore of it. Instead of the waitress asking if something was wrong, she asked if I needed a box. I brought it home thinking one of my boys might eat it....next day my husband heated it up and took 2 bites and said "I can't eat this, it is disgusting". So disappointed since Pataskala doesn't have many sit down places with a patio. But my family won't be returning.

My husband and I went to the loft for the first time, we were greeted by Chef Alonzo as soon as we got in and showed around by manager Robert. What a warm welcome and a beautiful place! I had the spicy shrimp pasta that just had enough heat to make it interesting, delicious and enormous, my husband had the blackened chicken which he loved, we shared the flat bread and bread pudding for dessert, the best we have tasted so far! We were pleasantly surprised and definitely are going back. Compliments to Chef Alonzo and Mgr. Robert, they fairly exceeded our expectations.

I can no longer recommend this restaurant. The food has changed, and not in a good way. I had a terrible experience last Saturday which was not handled appropriately. When your child's food arrives with the check, something is wrong. Was offered a 25% discount on her food if we chose to take it "to go". Needless to say I declined to take it. She was already so frustrated with the lack of dinner while everyone else ate uncomfortably due to her not having her meal. This was the last of many meals here. I delayed changing my recommendation because I reached out to the manager to give him a chance to rectify the situation. I have heard no response so I am changing my review. It's sad because we used to love everything about this place but, something changed and I can no longer recommend dining here. You have lost our business as well as our recommendation.

Once again, another amazing experience at the Loft. I attended a suprise anniversary party here over the weekend. The food was top notch and the staff were nothing short of wonderful. Thank you and keep up the great work. We are so lucky to have this establishment in our little town.

I took my mother here for their Mothers Day buffet, priced at 24.99 soft drinks or ice tea included. I think its easy to pick on a buffet because there is so many options and it's hard to like everything. and it's sometimes overwhelming. They had a combination of a few breakfast items as well as some brunch items. The had sliced prime rib and turkey breast, both were good but the prime rib was basically melting in my mouth before i could even start chewing. The buffet was not huge but what they had available was worth the price. The staff was very professional and courteous to the customers, especially the Mothers, each mother was given a pink long stem rose once they ordered their drink. I noticed the manger watching all of the tables making sure each mother had a rose. Our waitress refilled our drinks as needed and was very friendly. I had a good experience but honestly what matters is that my mother did.

Slow service under staffed Food is average but over priced Music is too loud Not worth going toIt is a shame since it is right in our backyardThey don't seem to appreciate a golf league that brings in 20 - 30 golfers each week- greens fees and dinner

Changed the name and made the place a sports bar. Tried the ribeye special. Had to ask for butter for the baked potatoes. Salad was bad. Waitress did not check on us. All in all food was fair service still poor.

The food is okay. However, they have failed to update their websites menu. Causing me to order a meal they no longer serve but never informed me on the phone this item wasn't available. Was very disappointed that they proceeded to replace what I ordered with another meal without my consent. They also are not good at listening to orders, my receipt for my girlfriends sub clearly states no tomatoes however they were still on the sub (and not the big ones you can just pick off).
