The Local @97

Love the burgers and the breaded mushrooms are the best around! I make my brother stop and pick them up for me at least once or twice when I am in town!

Stopped in for a drink and an appetizer with a friend. I ordered the 5 drummies, OMG the price was like $7 so I thought they were wing size drummies. They were FULL size drum sticks. Lightly breaded, perfectly cooked, stated as locally sourced. My friend got chicken fingers and fries, which were delicious also.The local @ 97, is a neighborhood sports bar that might be a hidden food gem, if everything is as good as the drummies, it a .Staff very friendly, lots of TV, nice patio. Prices are reasonable.

Came to town for a sales call and decided to try this joint. Was not disappointed. Ordered a special on their board, the chicken philly. A little disappointed the chicken wasn't pulled, but the sandwich was hot as Hades! Very tasty. Fries weren't the best I've ever had, buy were very good nonetheless. Service was fast and friendly. The lunch with a Bodhi IPA was under $15. Would come back again in a heartbeat!

Can't give them over 3 stars. Not with Paul Revere home cooking right across the street. Let me tell u. They are the sweetest staff in here. Covid precautions everywhere. Plexi glass hand sanitizer. They got it. Bartenders wearing masks. But.. The menu is crap food. Hamburgers hotdogs n pizza. Im good. Like i said paul reveres across the street. I ate there for lunch 3 days in a row. After 40 you need fruit n veggies in your diet. Its all fries n garbage food here. Beer selection is decent. A few craft beer And xmas ale. Good liquor selection. Its a place for locals but they make me feel like a local. Good spot

This place was LOUD and service was bad. It was slow and I didn't even finish my food. It was truly horrible. The fries had no salt and tasted freezer burnt. The burger was tasteless and needs a sauce or something to make it interesting and less bland. The cheese curds were oily and the batter coating them was chewy. I would not go back.

Nope nope nope! I went there for the first time (and last) with a friend who goes fairly often. There are no words to describe the taste of the pretzel which I was looking forward to trying. Freezer burnt is the only way I suppose and the cheese sauce was awful. The place is really dark which always makes you wonder why. I couldn't wait to leave to get home to wash the smell off. I love a good "dive bar" but this place is just plain nasty.

Had a great time. Staff very friendly, food and drinks were good. A great place to meet friends for a night out.

Great place For lunch or dinner have a drink listen to music enjoy the friendly people and the nice atmosphere.

Great place to relax with family n friends. Highly recommended. Run don't walk to this great place!!!!

The service & food is always great at the local 97 I come in often with my boyfriends family. Staff is very attentive even when busy. If you like hometown locally owned restaurants give this place a try. Good selection of alcohol & great place to watch a game. Ask for Bridget "hope I spelled her name right" also if you are a person who likes crowds of people or don't mind a little bit of noise then this is the place
