The ambiance isn't anything special, but fortunately the food is! They had a shish-kebab special and I thought it was flavored just perfectly. I also tasted a little bit of the meat from the Philly steak and that was yummy too. My dining companion said the fries were perfectly crips and tasty. It wasn't crowded at all on a late Saturday afternoon and the service was fast. I had seen Groupons for this place, which made me wonder how good it would be, but I wasn't disappointed one bit. I think it's kind of a weird location, so they probably do have to go out of their way to advertise to the masses. My parents like to eat there and they said it is never too busy, but always a solid choice. (We all tend to dine at weird hours though.) No promises on the atmosphere, but one promise I can make is that I'll be back.

i've tried many different things to eat here, and the food and staff never disappoint! when there's karaoke or music on stage, it's a good time! and even when crowded, there's just a nice comfy feel here!

My wife and I went here for the first time last week. We arrived at 6:30 and there were maybe 10 other people there and lots of seating. However we were strongly encouraged to sit at the bar because of reservations they had for later in the evening. Ok, no big deal. A poster for a band playing later that evening said it started at 9:30, yet the band was (loudly) practicing already at 6:30, making it difficult to hear one another. Once seated at the bar, the bartender was very attentive and helpful. She took our drink and food orders quickly, and brought out our appetizer pretty fast as well. We ordered the loaded nachos with chicken. A large plate of nachos arrived. While the taste was ok, it was basically 80% nachos and cheese and 20% chicken and other toppings. Shortly after, our main entrees arrived: hot wings for my wife and shrimp tacos for me. The shrimp tacos were excellent and the shrimp itself had a nice Cajun seasoning. Mine came with a side of fresh thin cut fries that were also excellent and well seasoned. My wife reported her wings were definitely hot and also cooked very well. Overall the main entrees were very good. The loaded nachos were good also, even if they weren't particularly loaded. Other than the sound level from the band making it hard to hear one another from a foot away, this is a nice spot to enjoy a few drinks and some good food. We will likely be back again, although not on a night when there's a band.

I was pleasantly surprised with the great food here! I drive by this place every day, but just considered it a local bar/hangout for the younger crowd. I saw a Groupon with pictures, looked up reviews (most were good) and decided to give it a try one Sunday for lunch. The food was excellent, the salads fresh and the sandwiches were huge! I loved the chili with just the right amount of "kick". Except for being a little messy in the dining room area (think band the night before) and the usual bar smells I think this is a great restaurant/bar and I will be back to try the dinner entrees soon!

The waitress stated we have any drink you want when I asked for a drink menu that they don't have , so me and my husband ordered Mai Tia's she left came back we don't make those! We ordered lobster roll which was supposed to come with homemade chips got greasy fries, I ordered mussels now mussels are good in a nice tomato sauce these came dry with dry chopped tomato and cheese on top , didn't need the bread nothing to sop up dry as hell. Very disappointed. Band was good

Love this place! Food is great, staff is awesome. My go to!! The owner took a bad situation with coronavirus and got creative. She came up with ways to keep business coming and kept her business thriving. Major props!

Through the COVID pandemic stay at home order I have gotten to try some local restaurants, which has been a huge benefit. The other night we had heard very good things about the Ignorant Owl, so decided to give it a try. We did curbside carry out and they were very prompt to get our food out to us. We tried it on Taco Tuesday so they had tacos as a special. My husband tried the fish tacos and said he really enjoyed them. The fish in the tacos were grilled, so he way very happy about that. I tried the beef taco and a chicken taco. Both were excellent as well. We also tried the street corn which was amazing and the cheesy potatoes which I would absolutely get again. My son got the 1/2 rack rib meal and got 2 meals out of it. He said the food was amazing. It came with coleslaw and the cheesy potatoes. He never likes coleslaw, but said this was good. My husband is already talking about another trip back. I'll make sure to update my review with some pictures on our next visit.

The food was great but the young lady who was supposed to be serving me (wearing a Travis Kelce t-shirt) spent a lot more time on her phone, in and out of the restroom, and sneaking drinks than she did doing her job. In the midst of waiting for her to take my order, I also overheard several rude comments from her about other people in the pub. I hope to go back after they upgrade their staff.

The food was great. Had the nachos for an app. Had the fish sandwich and fries for meal. Fish was crispy. The service was good we were the only ones eating at a table the rest were at the bar and were still taken care of. It's was a Sunday at one so the nfl games were on. We watched them from our seats. The place was clean.

Had a groupon for here, i love the atmosphere and the service is quick and attentive even when short staffed and we sit far away from the bar. I love the choice of music mostly rock from the 80s-90s. So 3 visits 3 different meals all of them are great the home made fries can have too much salt on them but if you ask ahead of time they make sure to remedy that.Only reason its not a 5 star is because the price is a little on the high side
