This is an absolute gem of an upscale venue bordering on fine dining. Beautiful space greets on entry, with a lively bar scene set off to the right and an inviting, open area dining room with fireplace and elegant design. The dishes were thoughtfully designed with lots of different ingredients and corresponding flavors in every dish we tried. Standouts included Wagyu with confit potatoes, Camembert cheese and purple mustard vinaigrette; agnolotti with butter lobster, toasted garlic, tomato broth, basil, and lemon crème fraiche; and the sea bass in lobster broth with carrots, leeks, radish and chile oil (highly recommend that last one!).Cocktails on point and great selection of wines.Service was attentive, extremely knowledgeable, well trained, and pleasant. Great conversations not just on their menu but the larger Columbus food scene including farms of note and eateries of all different types. We stayed at the St Joseph so was also very convenient if you're staying there.Great experience! Will be back!

My wife and I came for dinner on a Saturday night. I was pleased to find there was a reservation available on the day of at a convenient time (so always check, don't assume there wont be one!) So we felt kinda lucky to get in. But also, we were under a tight timeframe because we had tickets to a comedy show at 8pm. We arrived promptly for our reservation at 6:30.My wife explained to our server that we had show tickets, so we only had about an hour. Our server was more than accommodating and so kind about it. She didn't rush us, we didn't feel the need to rush her, it was very casual and a good amount of time for a dinner there. The ambiance is really nice. It's a little dark, but I enjoy the decor. We were sat in the bar area, which feels just as nice as the rest of the restaurant. Maybe the only better spot would've been by the front window, but for a last minute reservation, I'm not complaining! Everything was very clean and the place felt inviting. The menu had a few options for me as a vegetarian, but not a whole lot. We did order the brussell sprouts as our appetizer. We also wanted to try the sweet potato rolls, but were told they either have pork or are cooked with pork? So we skipped. My wife had the agnolotti (lobster pasta) and I had the vegetarian ricotta gnocchi. My portion did not look very big, but I was surprised at how filling it was! My wife enjoyed hers as well. We both agreed that we'd skip the brussell sprouts next time. There wasn't much to them. Our first time here and I could see coming back. I appreciate that street parking was easy to find out front. Very good service, good food, and good atmosphere. A winner in my book.

I had a networking meeting and they scheduled it here. I had not been here before and wasn't familiar with the area. I actually avoid it if I can due to parking (or lack thereof). I was here for lunch on a work day and it was incredibly cold out. As a result, I didn't want to mess with parking and was glad there was valet available. I had read it on a couple yelp reviews. I called to confirm and was told the valet was actually for the adjacent hotel but served the restaurant, too.I did see there was a parking garage not too far away, but still glad given the weather and time crunch to pay for valet. And pay I did - $25. However, it turns out the valet just left my car right outside the restaurant so there was no wait for retrieval when I was done one hour later. So I was to meet 2 men for lunch. One showed up right on time and told me the other couldn't make it. I think that was a bummer as this guy had no clue what we were meeting about. The meeting was to help me find other job options within our industry. So this guy and the meeting was worthless. About the food - the menu was rather small and the prices big. I had checked it out online and figured there was one salad that looked like it could be an entree. It was $17. I just had water so I was a relatively cheap "date." My networking friend ordered the same salad and soup and also just had water. The restaurant was pretty empty - lots of open tables around us. The waitress was very pleasant and pretty much timey - although she took a while to pick up the check when we were done which I think irritated my table mate a little bit.The salad was average sized but very interesting. I unfortunately did not pay it much attention as I was struggling with conversation. I tried to find things to talk about that might help him help me - without much luck. The part of the salad I did eat and remember was really good. I didn't eat that much of it as when the person I was sitting with finished (before me) - I stopped eating, too.I was never happier to be on my way home. Not because of the meal or restaurant but because it was the most awkward meeting. Ever.I probably would not return. The food was good. Service good. Location OK. But the pricing and a la carte menu just isn't what I normally choose. But if this is what you're looking for - then I highly recommend you go here.

Went to celebrate a dear friends birthday. It was both our first time here. The food and service were good and the space was really modern and well thought out. There's a table right next to a fire place if you like things like that. We were sat above a beautiful green chandelier. The door to the location can be a bit tricky to find if you're not paying attention.. It's right past the bell desk of the Le Merdian hotel that's outside. And there usually is a sign that points o the door of the restaurant if you are paying attention.

We were seated at a cozy table next to the gas fireplace for breakfast. The interior is warm and homely. We ordered the steak and eggs with gluten free toast and the chicken hash bowl. The steak was cooked medium-rare, potatoes were deliciously fried. Even the gluten free toast was amazing. I had the smoked chicken hash with scrambled eggs. The poblano pepper & salsa verde gave it the perfect sweet spicy flavor and I squeezed the lime over it for a new flavor. Very enjoyable breakfast. Hopefully we can come back for dinner some evening.

Simply put, the cost is worth it. The Guild House is a well executed, gem of an experience. Service is superb and the ambiance strikes a trendy, classy yet comfortable ambiance. Standout dishes were the oyster mushroom and lamb chop app, salmon and filet entrees. The halibut could have used more seasoning imo and the sea bass was solid. The only miss was the caramel apple dessert our friends ordered.

I recently had brunch here with a friend, and we had the best time. The restaurant is beautiful, and our waiter was fun and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. We started with espresso martinis, which were really good, and I had the omelette, which was absolutely delicious. The only downside was that the potatoes I ordered weren't cooked well--they were a bit hard--but our entrees were great overall. It's such a great spot for brunch, and I'm already looking forward to going back!

We enjoyed the best service we have had at a restaurant in a long time along with incredible food. The lobster ravioli, a new menu offering, will keep people coming back. The sauce is so good you'll be tempted to pick up your plate and lick it. Please don't. This joint is classy...so take off your backward facing ball cap and put on a nice button down. The beet salad is delicious and the poppy cake is the perfect way to end the meal. Hats off to The Guild House team!

The decor inside is beautiful and the service is fantastic. They have a great wine menu and even some zero proof cocktails. The Blueberry smash was delicious! We decided on the stuffed poblano. The inside was delicious but didn't really have the heat we were expecting from the pepper. We split the Scallops and they were cooked perfectly. Another member of our party ordered the halibut and that was the start of the show.
