I would 100% NOT recommend this apartment complex. Not only are the MAIN SUPERVISORS ACT RACIST.. but my car was vandalized several times -- along with beer bottles put behind my car tire. I was 3 days late on rent and when I came to pay, Nicki said they would not accept my rent -- but didn't file for eviction for 14 days after that I had to move out with my 2 yr old daughter (we are currently living in my car) and even though I begged them and expressed I had nowhere else to go, they refused to take my payment... I also applied with Impact for rental assistance the first week I moved in.. I was put on an expedited list that would have had my money in two weeks tops-- they refused to send the necessary documents UNTIL I moved out !! The people in the neighborhood call the police EVERYDAYYY for ANYTHING.. I was watching Game of Thrones and the cops come banging on my door. When I opened the door they said, "Oh you must've just turned down the loud music." NEVER PLAYED LOUD MUSIC... it was sooo promising when I first came but you will learn the wicked truth sooner or later. And good luck speaking to the owner lol they make it impossible to talk to anyone but NICKI. I wrote a previous review when I first came.. sorry if I tricked you into moving there.. And I am agood person, I left the place just like I found it The women who answer the phones (Elizabeth & Allison) are amazing and never showed a nic of unprofessionalism. That's all for now and God got our back so we'll be fine but be advised all that glitters isn't gold!

A few of the issues I have encountered while living at The Greyson since October:1. About 6 months ago, a person moved in with his 100lb+ German shepherd. Where does the complex allow him to move? On the 2nd floor which started a lot of problems. This person has constantly stomped his feet and allowed his dog to yelp, whine, bark at all hours of the day. I have left the resident a note on his door. I have contacted the front office and nothing has been done. Other residents have told me that this dog and owner is a nuisance to the complex2. It took 4-6 months AFTER we moved into to have the amenities to be functioning and they are still yet to be completed (car wash is maybe 10% complete and summer is half over). Again, I am requesting a discounted rent fee until all amenities are working properly.3. The Greyson has no problem giving you a letter or leaving you a voicemail for breaking a lease rule (I accidentally left trash near my front door one day and played music too loud in the MIDDLE of the day). Some of the broken rules I have seen others do while living here that management does nothing abouta. Residents only allowed to bring in 2 guests:i. Memorial Day weekend, a resident brought in over 20 people for a party using the grill and picnic tables all day.ii. Unwelcome people who are not residents playing basketball while cussing, saying the "n" word, and being obnoxious; this is not a place I want to bring a friend or family member nor recommend living at.iii. Numerous times where people have brought glass bottles into the pool area with the management doing nothing about it, which is a bottle breaks, the pool area would need to be shut down, drained and cleaned. There goes the pool for the summer.4. This is the 2nd or 3rd management team The Greyson has gone through in one year.5. You may be called/e-mailed about them needing to have your car moved.a. Earlier in June, they started paving the complex (why was this not done prior to allowing residents to move in?) and requested the cars to be moved to a certain area of the complex. I obeyed and move to an area that was highlighted on the map as a place to park. One morning, I received an e-mail in the middle of the workday requesting I move my car once again. I responded 30 minutes later telling the office I was leaving work early to move the car. I get home 20 minutes later to find my car has been towed to the opposite side of the complex and was never told it was being relocated.

The Greyson was, at first, a nice place to live. Slowly over time, and especially since new management took over, the Greyson has declined into a poorly managed and, frankly, dissatisfying place to reside. While there were some positive things about living at the Greyson the negative experiences far outweigh them.A short summary of issues that I have experienced while a tenant are as follows: grills that do not function properly, multiple complex visits from the police for unruly residents or crimes on complex grounds, staff that is incapable of operating their own online system, multiple instances of pet waste being left in grass common areas, and an abundance of litter (typically water bottles and cigarette butts/ashes) on the stair cases and entry ways.Another issue is utilities. My wife and I were paying nearly $200 for electricity each month in addition to our other utilities, totaling somewhere around $300. Our new home is almost double the size and we pay less than $100 in the winter months across all utilities. The issues listed above, from a reasonable standpoint, may only warrant a 3-star review at worst. While I certainly have lived in better maintained, better managed, and more neighborly communities I have certainly seen and heard stories of much worse. That is, until my next point and the reason for a 1-star review. The Greyson claims to be "pet friendly". And at first this was a main draw for my wife and I, as we have 2 cats. We understood that a pet deposit and monthly pet-rent were standard in the industry. This was something we were comfortable paying for. We would later come to learn that we were not paying that additional amount to cover any increased "normal wear and tear" but, in the words of the Greyson, "for the privilege of having our animals on the premises".When my wife and I were moving out of our apartment we patched nail holes in the walls, cleaned the fridge, stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer, bathrooms (toilets, sinks, showers/tubs), swept and mopped the floors, and vacuumed and shampooed the carpets. In all honesty we left that apartment in better condition than it was received. I have the pictures to prove as such. We handed in our keys and thought nothing of it, as we were extremely confident that the work we had put in would be satisfactory. Keys were handed in before closing. After leaving the premises, charges were applied to our account that night and written claims of a representative entering the apartment. The charges were for a full carpet replacement of the apartment as there was an "odor" which was detectable immediately upon entering the apartment. We, along with the movers who assisted my wife and I, are willing to testify that there was no such odor. The Greyson was unwilling to provide picture proof of the stains/other visible damage that would have been available while removing the carpet that was present while my wife and I lived in the unit. The issue with "odor" damages is that there is little, if any, proof that can be provided as a former resident to prove the final state of the apartment. It turns into a he-said-she-said situation where the resident is at a significant disadvantage. The only recourse involves financial impact as the charges would be sent to collections and then ultimately to the credit bureaus which affects credit rating. The business receives no penalty for their false claims or attempts at cash grabs. This is why I have decided to leave this review. Until I see proof of the damages from the Greyson this review should stand as a testament to the deplorable business practices and dishonest management and staff.I will leave any person(s) considering this apartment complex this warning: schedule an in-person move-out inspection if you currently reside here, or wherever you end up. Otherwise, avoid this apartment complex/property management company at all costs. They will attempt at any chance to squeeze you for as much money as they can and claim that it is a "privilege" along the way.

I love the free use of the gas grills by the pool! Our family loves to cook out and while I am cooking, I can keep an eye on my children in the swimming pool. This place is always so clean and all the employees act as if they've known you forever!

Loved working with Sharon to find the right apartment. Helpful, knowledgeable and personable, she made sure we knew what we were getting into and has been nothing but helpful since we moved in. Very pleased with the conscientiousness she shows and the kindness with which she approaches every encounter. Her follow-through is excellent and we would highly recommend working with her when you tour.

I will start off with the Cons:1. Horrible insulation. You can hear your neighbors talking, laughing, and I could actually hear their text message alerts. My bedroom was next to another bedroom and I cannot tell you how many times I heard them doing things I don't want to hear.2. The staff literally changed 3 times. I will say they were all pleasant, but it always seemed like there was someone different and I couldn't keep track.3. Kids EVERYWHERE. If you have a family and love meeting other families with kids, then this is the place for you. But all I ever seemed to hear was screaming children. Kids across from me would rollerskate on the wood landing, scream, yell, stomp up and down. It was completely obnoxious and the parents did nothing. This same family had the cops show up one morning just a couple weeks after they moved in. 4. The overall construction is pretty poor. You can tell it's cheaply made. 5. The fitness center became a place for parents to bring their kids. That is not a playroom, and kids could get seriously hurt. It's also very distracting when you're trying to work out and kids are running all over the place.6. Fire department showed up 3 times while I lived there. Not sure what that was all about.7. I put in several maintenance requests online and they were never answered. I had to actually email the office to get anything done. 8. There's really no way to stop random people from coming and using the pool, basketball court, etc. Neither are protected with key cards and anyone can walk in.9. There is a pond in the back of the complex and apparently, some people thought it would be awesome to leave 12 empty beer cans laying around after a Friday night of drinking. There seems to be a lot of trash everywhere from people just being totally careless and gross. I even saw a pair of underwear in the parking lot a month after I moved in. And you will see many, many cigarette butts everywhere.10. Breezeways are unfinished wood. You don't want to touch the railings or you'll get a splinter.Pros:1. A couple of the guys in the office were always super pleasant. It was nice having an approachable office staff. 2. Rent was affordable, and since the place is brand new, it's nice knowing nobody else ever lived in my unit.3. 5 treadmills - this was nice and I never had to wait for one.4. The trim and doors are all white, so it makes the space brighter. 5. Close to grocery stores, food, etc.Overall, there were moments of frustration living at the Greyson. But most of it really seemed to stem from the other residents who didn't seem to have any respect for others. I think they are trying to fill the units as fast as possible and are letting anyone rent a place. Just do your research. It's an apartment so there will be issues, but if you are sensitive to a lot of noise, then don't move to the Greyson.

Toured The Greyson with Nicole, the Community Manager, yesterday. She helped me find the right apartment for what I was looking for and within my budget. She was incredibly thorough, answered all my questions, and was not pushy in anyway. The community itself is beautiful, quiet, and with great amenities. Would highly recommend!

We moved here about 7 months ago.. We are really loving it! Here are a few things I like about the property just in our short time here: - it's a very safe neighborhood. I feel comfortable walking around the property, even in the middle of the night when our dog decides he needs to go out. - the dog park! Probably the #1 reason we moved here to be honest- our neighbors. Everyone who lives around us is friendly. No complaints about the noise around us. We can sometimes hear our neighbors closing their doors or moving on the other side of the wall. - the balcony was nice during the warmer months as we have never had outdoor space before.- the free coffee at the clubhouse is nice.- the gym. Adequate equipment and weights for a quick workout. Always very clean. - right next to the library.- after reading some other reviews I think we maybe lucked out with our location, as it is on the outer edge of the property so it's pretty quiet for us in terms of traffic and noise. We moved here in August of last year, in the middle of the pandemic so the only thing missing is the events! (Obviously not their fault). We did get to enjoy the Splash Bash for the pups. That was great! The office's response to COVID and the communications/actions taken have been great as well. The office staff is also super friendly everytime I go into the clubhouse.I really have no complaints/concerns about the community to date.
