What a terrible school, the staff are horrible the one older teacher practically called my son multiple names that didn't sit well with me..... I spoke to the director/owner about this concern and he dismissed me and told me not to bring back my child. Overpriced !!! Terrible place and terrible management....

As a former employee and someone who has worked with children the last 15 years, I would suggest staying far away from this place. Poor ownership and staff choices that ultimately are putting children in danger

Safe, secure, welcoming environment, adapting to different physical requirements to grow, while balancing critical thinking and adaptability. The staff provides multiple check ins with our kids throughout the day with their cognitive level of learning or just a fun splash day photo. We have been at Goddard for 6 months and we have not had an issue yet besides the no peanut butter rule lol.

We've been at Goddard for a few years and have had great experiences. Teacher turnover is inevitable in this industry and Ryan has done a great job continuously bringing in talented teachers for the children. And the security process at the front door is top notch. We prefer to pack lunches so this is a none issue for us but I have heard of concerns with the center only proving morning and afternoon snacks. Other than that nuance, I've heard nothing from great things from others.

We were enrolled at Goddard for 10 months and were in both infant rooms. The facility is new and the teachers that were initially in the rooms were amazing and quickly became family. However, there has been extensive turnover with teachers and administrative staff. I've had to drop my child off with strangers because the school is not staffed appropriately, and sometimes outsources subs from an agency. My child's eating schedule would not be followed, late, or some parts skipped. Once, my child was offered formula in the morning and given the same bottle of formula in the afternoon even though the first rule of formula is to discard after an hour. The older infant room rarely provides updates and pictures on the app even though you're sold during the tour that you'll receive updates. They also told us that infants can be on their own schedule but my child was only allowed 1 nap per day, at 12 months old when infants still require at least 2 naps. My child had a hard time transitioning into a new room; a teacher would tell me my child had a rough day and was upset but then I would walk by the owner and he would tell me my child is loving it in the new room. The owner provides false information to parents, trying to keep them happy, but children are not used cars that you can mask issues with a positive spin.We also signed a document saying we did not want our child's pictures shared externally and multiple pictures have been posted to Facebook and Instagram on Goddard's public accounts. Their neglect to follow parents' straightforward requests is highly concerning.

The facility is clean and well-secured. What was explained to me during the sales pitch and what actually happened Day to day was very different. I was promised daily photos and updated on what my child ate. The communication was inconsistent. I was told there was daily art time. Three weeks had passed before I spoke up about never seeing any artwork. It's so expensive and not even remotely worth it.

Really bad experience!!! The first time we stopped in, we let the owner know our concerns and the lifestyle of our 4 year old. He made us feel comfortable and gave us hope that our son will get the care he needs. He sold us. Little did we know, the first day our son started everything the owner said seemed to be out the door! He and Ms Ruth did not give any care or want to try to help our son. They did not give him a chance or opportunity to let him get comfortable in the new environment. 3 half days and they told us that they can not watch him due to under staffing. Ms Ruth is not capable of doing her job and called our son mental! it's really disappointing.I don't recommend anyone to bring their kids here if they want child care or pre-K . They do not care about your kids just your pockets!!!

My children have been in the care of The Goddard School - Gahanna for a little over a year. Initially, we intended the enrollment to be temporary, while we waited for another local program to open. When that center continued to experience delays, we chose to keep our kids at Goddard as they were familiar with the staff and comfortable with the routine and we did not want to force them to unnecessarily experience another major transition. There was a period of time during our enrollment when staff turnover was very high. A lot of teachers we enjoyed left to go to other local centers, leading to some concern on our part and discussion at home about whether or not we would stay. However, once the center became appropriately staffed again, the experience has been great. The owners and directors are very communicative and easy to approach with questions or concerns. All of the teachers have welcomed our kids whether they have a smile on their face or are having difficulty at drop-off. Ms. Ruth and Ms. Michelle are very accommodating of the various emotional states of young children. I feel well informed and it is clear they have a true interest in my child. And my 4 year old is adding and subtracting at the dinner table! Ms. Dajuanna is a joy to see each morning with her liveliness and positive and caring energy. Ms. Chanelle greets every parent and child with a warm welcome. Ms. Christina is joyful and is always certain to keep us well informed of current events at the school, needs from home, and issues/accidents/progress happening in the classroom.Thank you for providing a safe, welcoming and educational facility for our family!

The staff at Goddard were excellent! The infant room exceeded any other daycare that I have experienced (and I've been through 2). The teachers were always very caring and loving to my child. They also had control of the room and Never gave off the vibe that they were overwhelmed. Calm and loving was the feeling i recieved from this room. I also had a 3 year old in the older toddler room. My toddler had a hard time adjusting to the daycare setting (hence the 2 previous centers), so this is a unique review response to my particular experience. Although Goddard didn't end up working for us, it wasn't because of fault from the center. The teachers and administrators (Jessica and Ryan) were very receptive and willing to try anything and everything within their means to work with my family and my child. They even went to the lengths of researching modifications to programming to meet our child's specific needs. In the end, we ended up qualifying for special needs pre-k, which will hopefully be a better fit. I do want to reiterate that they did more for us than any other center. The way they made me feel about my child was that there wasn't something wrong with him and that he was a good kid, but the setting was just not a good fit for what he needed to succeed. Other centers made me feel terrible and that my child was a problem and an issue to fix. I felt like the staff at Goddard were on my side, wanting to modify the environment so that my child could thrive. This means a lot to me. Another thing to note, they also worked with our family as we transitioned to a nanny, allowing our infant to remain in programming on a moth by month basis until we were comfortable pulling him out. This is how you treat family, which speaks volumes. The facility is beautiful, there is a large indoor and outdoor play area, you pack your own meals, they supply snack, and the teachers and the administrators are wonderful. Overall I 100% recommend this daycare.
