The Gahanna Sanctuary

My supervisor had his wedding and reception here. It was a great multifunctional facility for both events.We walked into the main area which was where the ceremony was held. We were told to walk down the hall to the other section where we had appetizers. They'd brought in appetizers made by family members which were heated up in the kitchen and served with drinks.About 45 minutes later we were told we could return to the first area. (Hope you aren't confused yet!) It had been opened up into an even bigger room than before. It had a dance floor and many round tables. It was difficult to believe it was the same room.During the reception they had a DJ and a video presentation to honor deceased family members so there's a variety of equipment for your event.

We absolutely loved having our wedding reception at the Sanctuary. The staff is extremely nice and the price cannot be beat. You can use any caterer and bartender you want, which saves a lot of money. We really enjoyed the uniqueness of the space! Plus, they have open houses every Thursday which helped us a lot with planning details.

Had my wedding here and would never rent again. My little niece walked in and really loudly said, It smells in here. So it did smell old. And upon closer inspection, you could see things that need maintenance. Also there is no parking. The public parking lots filled up super fast. Wouldn't rent again. I thought I was getting a good deal.
